About the Activity:
- Arrive at the activity location and get ready to learn some fun lessons about surfing.
- Meet with your English-speaking instructor who will be teaching you some skills and techniques.
- Learn everything from how to paddle out to the crystal blue waters, how to seek out that perfect wave as it grows, and how to balance yourself on a board will be covered.
- You will be provided with everything from surf boards to safety essentials so all you have to do is to make the most out of this activity.
How to reach?
You can opt for an add-on pick up and drop off transfer service with this activity. Alternatively, guests can reach the location by their own car or rent a car from a taxi stand in Galle.
- By Bus: The nearest bus stand is the Weligama bus stand and is located at a distance of a mere 200 m from the activity location.

- Participants aged 8 years and above only can participate in this activity
- Children aged 8-16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- The surfing t-shirt rental is included in the package and the t-shirt needs to be returned at the end of the activity

Know Before You Go for Surfing In Weligama
- This tour is for intermediate surfers who can already stand up on the board and catch small waves
- There is a safe place that is monitored where you can leave personal items
- The activity might be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. In such a scenario, the next best possible time slot will be informed.
- Carrying an extra pair of dry clothes is recommended for return transfer to your hotel.
- Participants must be aged 8+ to participate in this activity
- Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp object, lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, knife, etc.
- Participants are requested to report at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to their chosen time slot. Timings must be strictly followed, as the activity is time constraint.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- For safety purposes, this activity is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone who has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
- Face masks are required for travelers in public areas.
- Hand sanitizer is available to guests and staff.
- Social distancing is enforced throughout experience.
