About the Activity:

  • Embark on a 13 day long and extensive tour of the awe-inspiring New Zealand, bold yet delicately beautiful in all terms.
  • Arrive at Auckland and then start the trip to Bay of Island and then continue to other major sights New Zealand boasts of always.
  • Gaze at the awesome 90 Mile beach and Cape Reinga, Mona Vale Garden, Hagley Park and experience the charm spread by Glacier region, Greymouth, Tranz Alpine Train and much more.
  • Visit the The Thermal Village, Glow-worm caves, the Maori Culture and most importantly the sights in each city of New Zealand are enough to make you linger.
  • This package includes food, accommodation at hotels and transportation during the sightseeing.
  • You are free to choose from Seat in Coach trip or rent a car trip.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrive in Auckland

    Upon arrival in Auckland meet the tour representative in the arrival hall and get transferred to your hotel in a private car.

    Check-in and later head out to visit Sky tower in the evening (entrance cost included) as well as take a short walk to Viaduct harbor.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 2 - Auckland – Bay of Island (Paihia)

    After breakfast, travel towards North over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast.

    The journey continues, travelling through Whangarei, Northland’s only major city and port, before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

    This afternoon, take a ‘Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett’ cruise (included).

    If you wish, you may disembark from this cruise in Romantic Russell and take some time to explore this historic town, returning to Paihia by local ferry at your leisure (ferry ticket included).

    SIC customers will travel in a coach and Self-drive customers will pick up rental car from the local city branch for travel.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3 - Bay of Island -90 Mile beach and Cape Reinga

    After breakfast, go for an exciting day as you are driven along 90 Miles Beach and the Te Paki quicksand stream.

    Have the chance to surf down the massive sand dunes.

    Onto Cape Reinga’s for spectacular view of 2 oceans merging.

    Visit a factory processing century old kauri wood dug out from the swamp. Walk amongst huge Kauri trees at Puketi Forest.

    In the evening, return to your hotel in Paihia. (Included)

    SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car (rental cars are not allowed on 90 mile beach).

  • Day 4 - Bay of Island to Rotorua (Without Waitomo)

    After breakfast, travel to Rotorua via Auckland.

    SIC customers will travel in a coach, self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

  • Day 5 - Rotorua sightseeing

    After breakfast, proceed to AGRODOME (included) to witness the Agrodome Agricultural Show, where you will be entertained by New Zealand's performing sheep and other attractions.

    Later proceed to visit TE-PUIA thermal village (included) known for its hot springs, geysers and boiling mud pools.

    Watch the Maori craftsmen and learn about the traditional arts of carving and weaving and RAINBOW SPRINGS (included) to see the flower and fauna of New Zealand.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 6 - Rotorua - Christchurch

    After breakfast, SIC transfer to Rotorua airport and board your flight to Christchurch (flight not included), upon arrival SIC transfer to travel to your hotel.

    Self-drive customers travel to airport in their rental car in Rotorua, drop the car at Rotorua branch, fly to Christchurch (flight not included), upon arriving pick up their rental car in Christchurch to drive to their hotel.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 7 - Christchurch sightseeing

    After breakfast, enjoy the morning city tour covering Cathedral Square, Bridge of Remembrance, Avon River Art’s Centre and museum.

    See beautiful Mona Vale Garden, Hagley Park and from the Sign of the Takahe, you will get a spectacular view over the city, Canterbury Plains to the Alps (included).

    SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 8 - Christchurch-Glacier region via Greymouth (Tranz Alpine Train will be only for SIC clients)

    After breakfast, today morning travel over Canterbury plains and ascend through lush beech forest and alpine village of Arthur’s pass in Tranz Apline train (seat in coach passengers only) to reach Greymouth.

    Travel south to reach Glacier region.

    SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 9 - Glacier region – Queenstown

    After breakfast, travel past the native forest, lakes and mountains of Glacier region and drive past lake Wanaka before reaching the alpine resort Queenstown.

    SIC Customers will travel in a coach, self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

    Stay overnight at hotel.

  • Day 10 - Milford sound day tour

    After breakfast, head to MILFORD SOUND CRUISE (included).

    It gives you an opportunity to see MITRE PEAK which is just out of the water and mile high.

    Go exploring with a nature guide in the tender vessels and kayaks.

    You may see fur seals lazing on the rocks and lots of sea birds and numerous waterfalls. Return back to the hotel in the evening.

  • Day 11 - Queenstown day free for optional activities

    After breakfast, you have an option to enjoy the exciting SHOTOVER JET BOAT RIDE, LEDGE BUNGY JUMP, RIVER RAFTING, SKY DIVING Etc (activities not included)

  • Day 12 - To Christchurch via MT Cook

    After breakfast, check out from hotel and leave for Christchurch.

    Travel past Central Otago plains and lake Pukaki before reaching Mt Cook.

    Continue your journey via Lake Tekapo and Caterbury plains before reaching the garden city Christchurch.

    SIC Customers will travel in a coach, self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

  • Day 13 - Departure day

    After breakfast SIC customers will be transferred to airport in a shared vehicle.

    Self-drive customers will travel their rental car, drop the car at airport branch and board your flight for onward journey (flight not included).

  • Client will be required to present his/her driver’s license (Indian) with driver’s photograph, age clearly mentioned and it must be in English to the rental car company in order to claim the vehicle.

  • Driver must carry a valid Credit card with enough funds(almost NZ$4,000) to pay a security bond at the time of collecting the vehicle without a valid Credit card a car can-not be hired and no refunds will be made for cancellation.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
