The timing followed in Sentosa Merlion is from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. And last entry is at 7.30 pm. Tourists who come after 7.30 pm, won’t be allowed for the day under any circumstances. Zone 1 – Tales & Sails: It is a 3D animated story, depicting how Prince Sang Nila Utama discovered Singapura. You can immerse into the adventurous journey of the Prince to reach his destiny. Zone 2 – A Legend in the Making: Travel the Merlion’s journey and learn about its key milestones since the 1960s. It gives an insightful experience, where you can explore more about the mythological character of Merlion. Zone 3 – Building a Great Fortune: Through virtual reality, you can see the conceptualization and creation of the Sentosa Merlion. Its symbolic elements give more significance to the place. Zone 4 – At the Heart of Progress: The half-lion and the half-fish creature is not just about bravery, humility, and etc. it also portrays good luck. Get ready to unveil more. Zone 5 – Looking Beyond the Horizon: After exploring enough about Sentosa Merlion, you can get the best panoramic view of the place, and Singapore’s skyline at its Head and Mouth galleries.
How to reach Sentosa Merlion Singapore?
The Sentosa Merlion in Singapore is accessible by cable car, Sentosa Express, and car/taxi. By Cable Car – If you’re coming via Mount Faber Line, you can take the cable car and alight at Sentosa Station. Then head towards Merlion Plaza in escalator. Similarly, if you’re coming via Sentosa Line, you can take the cable car and alight at Merlion Station, and walk to the location. By Sentosa Express – Once you get into the Sentosa Express at VivoCity Level 3, Lobby L, you need to get down at Imbiah Station, which is the nearest station. By Car/Taxi – You can park the car or ask the taxi driver to stop at Beach Station. From there, you can come to Imbiah Station by taking Sentosa Express.
What are the different ticket options?
There are two types of tickets available. Sentosa Merlion – Standard Tickets: With this ticket, you can get a free cup of coffee and $1 OFF retail products at the Sentosa Merlion Shop. • Adult - $18.00 • Child/Senior - $15.00 Sentosa Merlion Guided Tour – Standard Tickets: Here, you can get a deeper understanding about the statue with the help of our dedicated tour guide. The meeting point is at Sentosa Merlion Main Entrance. Tour timings: 11.45 am, 1.45 pm, and 3.45 pm daily. • Adult - $25.00 • Child/Senior - $20.00 Apart from that, there are also offers and promotions available during season times to attract more tourists.
Can I bring my own food?
No. You cannot bring your food or drinks inside the place. As per the guidelines are drawn, tourists cannot bring outside food into the location. However, there are plenty of restaurants offering vibrant food items at your convenience. The menu includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and one can go for his most-loved recipe and enjoy it unlimitedly. In the restaurants, you can find all international varieties such as Continental, Indian, American, Thailand, etc. If anyone found violating the rules, he or she needs to face the consequences.
How long is my visit expected to last?
One can take at least 1 hour to cover all attractions within the Sentosa Merlion Singapore. What all things should we bring with us?
Firstly, you need to carry a valid ID card. Just for verification purpose, the staffs ask you to display the ID card. Secondly, you can carry sunscreen to avoid sunburns or any disease from harming. The next important thing is the camera. As we know, the most alluring Sentosa Merlion statue is standing firmly and shines from all sides, and one cannot leave without taking a picture with it. And please carry a water bottle filled in just in case.
