Overview

Departure Dates

Queensland is a wild and beautiful place, a land whose colour palette of red outback sands and Technicolor reefs frames sophisticated cities and soulful Indigenous stories

For many Australians, thoughts of biking trips conjure up only foreign images - French vineyards, Tuscan hills, Cuban beaches - but there are roads and trails in Queensland, Australia that are just as enticing. Though the vast distances of the open Australian highway may not appeal, there are numerous biking routes that beckon right across the country.

Departure Dates - Multiple dates open to Join a Group departure in May, June, July, August, September and October. This 8 day biking tour can also be customized on request for a separate group.

About the Destination:

Let it all hang out in Queensland: Australia's holiday haven offers beaches, reefs, jungles, uptempo locals and a laid-back tropical pace of life. It is home to some of the most stunning islands in the world, and each one invites you to come and share in its sumptuous delights. Succumb to the irresistible pull of Magnetic Island, near Townsville, or enjoy the romantic seclusion offered Keswick Island off the coast of Mackay.

There's a lot of tarmac across this wide brown land. From Margaret River to Cooktown, Jabiru to Dover, the best way to appreciate Australia is to hit the road. Australia's national parks and secluded corners are custom-made for camping trips down the dirt road and classic desert tracks from Birdsville to Cape York have adventure written all over them.

On a biking tour here, explore ancient rainforests, sink your toes into the world's whitest sand and watch whales on their annual migration. Discover the living masterpiece of the Great Barrier Reef and do not forget to shop up a beachside storm on the cosmopolitan Gold Coast. Explore the tropical city of Cairns and experience a thriving cultural and arts scene in this emerging world city – the state of Queensland really does have something for everyone.

About the Departure:

Experience the thrill of riding through one of the world’s most proclaimed and scenic destinations.  Ride from the Australian mainland through the circuit of Seisia. Watch the beautiful Elliot Falls and enjoy your time swimming in it. Fish in the Archer River and hopefully be rewarded with a catch for dinner. With picturesque landscapes and towns along the way, this tour will be everything you hoped for.

Taking you from Cairns to the northern most tip of the Australian continent at Cape Tribulation, it is a real adventure that motorcycle enthusiasts seek. In just eight days, you experience the bliss of riding a motorcycle through the best trails in this remote area, some are inaccessible to 4WD vehicles.
