Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Guwahati Airport

    On arrival at Guwahati Airport (GAU) a representative will arrange a group transfer to the hotel.

    Meet all members of the group in the evening followed by a ride briefing.

    You are free to take a tour of the famous Kamakhya Temple.

    Overnight stay at a hotel in Guwahati.

  • Day 2 - Guwahati – Nameri (220 Km)

    After an early breakfast, depart from the capital city.

    You would be riding to Nameri wildlife reservoir.

    Enjoy the greenery on the way as you will cruise through a very smooth highway.

    Bhalukpong road stretch is an amazing stretch to ride, covered by trees on both sides and the Brahmaputra river flowing elegantly on one side.

    The inaccessibility and continuity with the neighboring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish.

  • Day 3 - Nameri - Itanagar (150 Km)

    After breakfast drive to Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh.

    The roads are narrow but pleasant along the Brahmaputra river.

    Enjoy the mild breeze blowing during the day.

    During the winter months of December and January, Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal, also witnesses snowfall.

  • Day 4 - Itanagar - Ziro (120Km)

    Start your morning with a scrumptious breakfast.

    You will then leave the city to wander into the wild side of North East India.

    Pack your stuff together for the long and wild travel.

    Travel towards the Arunachal border where you will be heartily greeted by the beautiful Ranganadi Dam. The area is famous for having pine hills, mountain rice cultivation.

    Interact with the fascinating Apatani people, a non-nomadic tribe that is famous for their facial jewelry.

    Enjoy an overnight stay at Ziro.

  • Day 5 - Ziro Sightseeing

    Start your day with a fulfilling breakfast.

    Embark on a tour of Ziro, the plateau which is located above 5500 ft and is surrounded by the mesmerizing Apatani Tribal houses on all sides.

    Take the day off from the drive and enjoy the tagin villages filled with local traditional houses.

    Visit the pine and the bamboo groves & 5000 years old cave temple & Kile Pakho.

    Overnight stay at Ziro.

  • Day 6 - Ziro – Dapo (170 Km)

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast before leaving for Dapo. Dapo means `the protection` against the epidemic or evil spirits and Rijo refers to `the valley` with the shining sun.

    You will leave the beautiful tiny hill hamlet of Daporijo, the hub of six tribes.

    Keep counting the infinite hilly turns into the so-called `Just 170 Km ride`; Although the curves never bore you.

    Enjoy the panoramic view of River Subansiri Flowing in the immediate vicinity of the town. You can also try out rafting there.

    Enjoy the evening with paddy fields & pine hills view.

    Dabo is home to the people of the Tagin Tribe who are famed for their unique cultures, traditions, and religious practices.

    Overnight stay at homestay/guesthouse in Dabo.

  • Day 7 - Dapo - Aalo (160 Km)

    After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Aali which is home to Memba and Adi tribes.

    If you had fun riding on the curves the previous day then this day will be merrier.

    Get a good hold on the brakes on blind turns.

    Enjoy the stay at Along surrounded by Menchuka Valley mountains, Kabu Dance, Hanging bridge, orange garden & the confluence of the Sipu and Siyom.

  • Day 8 - Aalo - Pasighat (110 Km)

    Enjoy scrumptious morning breakfast before proceeding to Pasighat.

    As you pass on through the roads to your desired destination, you will get a mix of good tarred single and double lane roads and also roads in depleted condition.

    You will be passing through unending forests and different Adi tribes until you hit Pasighat.

    The roads from Aalo to Pasighat are quite narrow and sandy.

  • Day 9 - Pasighat - Roing (120 Km)

    Start your day with a hearty breakfast and proceed towards Roing.

    After wandering through lush green mountains and valleys, you will now be experiencing the thrill of the river crossing.

    You will be riding through a fierce and vast Brahmaputra river bed. The rocky river bed adds to the challenges while crossing this river.

    This Trans - Arunachal Highway offers beautiful infinite grasslands on one half and muddy, swampy, and exhausting terrain on the other half.

    Over and above, you will need a good rest once you reach Roing.

    You will be put up in cottages where you can savor homemade rice liquor and rest through the night.

  • Day 10 - Roing – Mayodia Pass – Roing (120 Km)

    Wake up to the cool breeze, no pollution, no noise, and prepare yourself for another day of the ride.

    After breakfast, you will proceed for an excursion to Mayodia Pass.

    Keep your spirits high, as you will be riding through the meandering and slippery roads, snowfall, and narrow roads towards the top.

    You will be mesmerized looking at the panoramic view from there, as the blue skyline meets the green mountains as long as your eyes can see.

    Once you return to Roing, you will be spending the night alongside the bonfire dancing to the local music beats, and feel good for all the beautiful memories you created during the day.

    Rest through the night in Roing.

  • Day 11 - Roing – Dibrugarh (160 Km)

    Enjoy a wholesome breakfast in the morning.

    After tiresome riding days, you will now enjoy riding on good long tar roads cherishing nature.

    Riding to the south of Assam, you will cross through many natural reserves. You may spot Deers and Rhinos if you are lucky on that day.

    You will be crossing Doom-Dooma and Tinsukia towns.

    At the end of the day, witness a spectacular sunset over the Brahmaputra river once you reach Dibrugarh.

    Reach Dibrugarh late in the evening and check in to your hotel.

    Overnight stay in the hotel.

  • Day 12 - Dibrugarh – Mon Village (130 Km)

    Start your day with a delicious breakfast in the morning.

    You will then continue the ride towards Nagaland leaving Assam behind.

    The ride is a short one but not an easy one. As soon you enter Nagaland, the true sense of off-roading surfaces towards Mon Village.

    Mon is the land of the captivating Konyak Naga. Konyaks are known for their tattooed faces, blackened teeth and head-hunting prowess.

    Overnight stay in a homestay at Mon Village.

  • Day 13 - Mon Village Local Sightseeing

    After breakfast, you will spend the whole day in Mon on the motorcycles to visit the local landmarks in Mon.

    There are many places to explore with innumerable stories to tell, like the Lungwa King House, Singi Sui, Head Hunting tribe, Local Market, Tribal Dance and Cultures.

  • Day 14 - Mon Village – Kaziranga (260 Km)

    Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

    Pack your stuff together for the next day on the long and wild ride.

    The comfort of the road will fade away after Jorhat.

    Enjoy the jungle safari when you reach Kaziranga.

    Witness the beauty of the versatile biodiversity of wildlife – forests, wetlands, and grasslands; home to tigers, elephants, and one-horned rhinoceroses.

  • Day 15 - Kaziranga – Guwahati (225 Kms)

    After having breakfast, you will proceed back to Guwahati.

    Witness the greenery slowly fade away as you ride along the Brahmaputra River.

    Continue to growl the engines towards the last destination of the journey.

    On reaching Guwahati, check in to your hotel rooms.

  • Guwahati Airport pick-up and drop will be done in group (In a coach or tempo traveler). Individual pick up or drop requests cannot be fulfilled.

  • Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.

  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc. Additional bags would have to be charged INR 1000/- per kg.

  • Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.

  • During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Thrillophilia will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.

  • In case a rider leaves the bike in the middle of the trip, charges for re-transporting the bike to the destination will be borne by the rider.

  • While riding on a bike, it is advised to carry luggage in rucksacks/backpacks instead of trolleys or suitcases as they generally get damaged due to driving on tough terrains.

  • There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.
