Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Departure from Manali (6 Hours)

    Today morning, wish 'good-bye' to the magnificent locales of Manali and take a drive back to Delhi. With your arrival in the capital city, this captivating Pin Parvati Pass trekking tour will come to an end.  

  • Day 2 - Trek from Rudranath to Khirganga

    Pin Parvati Views, Bridge Crossing

    Starting in the morning, follow a longer trail that will take you to a nearby bridge from where you can enjoy delightful views of the Pin Parvati Pass. Crossing this bridge, continue trekking through the scenic terrains and advent towards the Khirganga campsite. With your arrival at the campsite, the trek for the day will come to an end and you can spend the rest of the day at the camp followed by an overnight stay.

  • Day 3 - Trek from Khirganga to Tunda Bhuj (10,500ft)

    5 Hours Trek, Bird Watching, Pin Parvati River

    Today's trek from the Khirganga camp will take you through pictorial meadows, where you can spot several rare and exotic species of birds and and make it for a wonderfull trekking experience. With a steady climb and the astounding views of the Pin Parvati River gushing out from the mountains, make it to Tunda Bhuj and retire for the day.

  • Day 4 - Trek from Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan (11,000ft)

    5 Hours Trek, Bridge Crossing, Rocky Meadows

    While on the day's trek, you will be walking through scenic thickets and evergreen patches. On the way to Thakur Kuan, you will also be crossing a bridge that is quite long and takes time and much attention to cross. Upon crossing this bridge, continue trekking in the same direction and make it through the rocky meadows on the way. Traversing through these meadows, you will finally reach Thakur Kuan, where you will be spending an overnight.

  • Day 5 - Trek from Thakurkuan to Mantalai (13,400ft)

    5 Hours Trek, Pin Parvati River

    Starting late in the morning, today, you will be crossing several stunning streams and making your way towards the Pin Parvati River. From the riverside, follow the forest-line and proceed towards the Mantalai camp. On your way to the camp, you will be hiking through vast meadows that are beautifully fringed with plants and trees.

  • Day 6 - Mantalai

    Acclimatisation Day

    As trekking in the higher altitude is not as easy as it appear, take a day's break and get acclimatised to the change in altitudes. Spend the entire day in exploring the surroundings, relaxing or simply by doing nothing at the camp.

  • Day 7 - Trek from Mantalai Lake to Parvati Base Camp (14850ft)

    6-7 Hours Trek, Glaciers, Rocky Terrains

    Following your breakfast in the camp, start trekking towards the Mantalai Lake. Here onwards, a major portion of the trek will continue along a narrow leg of the river. Completing this part, you will be walking through rocky terrains, stunning glaciers and finally follow a slope to reach the Parvati Base Camp; overnight stay in the camp.

  • Day 8 - Trek from Parvati Base Camp to Pin Valley Base Camp (14,800ft) (over Pin Parvati Pass)

    8 Hours, Pin Parvati Pass (17,500ft), Dibibokri & Kulu Makalu Ranges

    Today, you will be gaining more height while trekking towards the Pin Valley Base Camp and make your mark into the Spiti Valley. Expect challenging terrains and obstacles on the way as you hike towards the Pin Parvati Pass. Reaching the top of the pass, enjoy the panoramic views from there and start descending down through the snow-covered meadows, rocky surfaces and thick forests to reach the Pin Valley base camp. Arriving at the campsite, enjoy the amazing views of the Dibibokri & Kulu Makalu ranges and retire for the day.

  • Day 9 - Trek from Pin Valley Base Camp to Wichkurung Thatch

    Glaciers, Rivers, Brooks, Flowery Meadow

    There are two different routes to reach Wichkurung Thatch from the Pin Valley camp; one passes through high glaciers with rivers on the side, and the other passes through a flowery meadow. Following the flowery route, the trek will continue through rocky terrains and will finally take you to the campsite in Wichkurung Thatch; overnight stay in the camp.
