Overview

Event date : 22nd December - 29th December

Cycling is considered to be the highest form of fitness and adventure known to humans, and the absolute fanatics have always known ways to take it all to the next level. This Pan-Madhya Pradesh event of cycling brings you an amazing chance of cycling through the state and visit the highest and the deepest points of the state in one stretch.

Beginning from Bhopal, the cycling tour leads you to Delawadi, then Pachmarhi and then finally to Tamia, covering a total distance of 350 kms over 5 days. During this stretch, you will also visit the highest and the deepest points of Madhya Pradesh, which will be Dhupgarh and Patalkot, respectively.

Throughout the tour, you will also gain experiences of nature walks, jungle camping, village and tribal interactions, hill camping, jungle trekking, and riverside camping, all of which further adds their own values to the entire package of Adventure.

Dhupgarh: Located an elevation of 1,352 m above sea level, it is the highest point in the Satpura range, and in the entirety of Madhya Pradesh. The hill is a great sunset viewpoint and is also amongst the favorite places to enjoy in Pachmarhi.

Patalkot: A valley in Tamia of Chhindwara District of Madhya Pradesh, the name of the place itself translates into 'Very Deep'. Spread in an area of 79 sq km, the valley is the deepest point of the state very well known for the medicinal herbs found in abundance here.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    You will be arriving at the starting point of the event in Bhopal at around 11 AM. After registration and formalities, you will start the ride for the day to reach the first checkpoint of the event, which will be Delawadi.

    During the 50 km ride, you will be taking a small break at Obedullaganj.

    After reaching the campsite for the day, you will be getting a welcome party with light music.

    If you have opted for a 1-day cycling tour, you will be cycling back to Bhopal the next morning with a tour captain and conclude your trip.

    Overnight in tents.

  • Day 2 -

    After breakfast and a short jungle walk in the nearby regions, you will begin the day's ride to Madhai from Delawadi.

    You will come across many beautiful terrains through greenery and jungles of the Vindhyachal Range during this 90 km ride. For a while during the day, you will also cycle beside the Narmada River.

    Taking stops at Salkanpur, Hoshangabad, Babai, and Pipriya, you will also get to interact, talk and run a campaign with the villagers.

    If you have opted for a 2-day cycling tour, you will be given a transfer back to Bhopal the next morning.

    Overnight at a resort in Madhai.

  • Day 3 -

    The day's ride will be from Madhai to Pachmarhi during which you will cross between the Vindhyachal range and Satpura range of hills.

    During this 80 km ride, a stretch of about 20 km will be an inclined ride held under the supervision of expert riders.

    On this day, you will ride to the highest point of Madhya Pradesh, Dhupgarh.

    If you have opted for a 3-day tour, your tour will end here and you will be transferred back the next morning.

    Overnight in Tents.

  • Day 4 -

    The ride for the day will be a declining one as you start losing height to reach the deepest point of Madhya Pradesh.

    After about 75 km of riding, you will arrive at Patalkot in Tamia, which is the destination for the day.

    Here, you will camp on the side of a river.

  • Day 5 -

    After a short morning walk in nature and some trekking by the river, you will be gathering for certificate distribution.

    The event then comes to an end and you will be dropped back to Bhopal along with your cycles.

    About the trip..... Day1 camping jungle safari well managed and such nice experience during campfire well done by Rajput brothers... the next day of the ride to the highest point was tough but drinks in between and food saved us from getting tired... after that trekking and Pachmarhi and daily campfire and song by Satya made us delighted ...visited all many places did parasailing and other activities archery and lot of things we had a proper backup from the team... overall great show....well managed by team Thrillophilia Satya and his team mayank aadi they are very nice and Dil se kaam Karte hai, at last, made good bonding with people and Madhya Pradesh.......

After that we went to Pachmarhi explored the beautiful places there parasailing and many things we attended after that we visited Tamia patalkot and many places we have done trekking camping meeting people and enjoyed the scenic beauty of mp I recommend this trip to every cyclist ...at last event was well maintained and managed by dedicated and hardworking team of Thrillophilia just loved the trip
