Pangarchulla Trek Highlights:

Day 01: Haridwar to Joshimath
Altitude: 6724 ft
256 kms drive, approx 10 hours
Trekkers will be picked from Haridwar at 6:30am in a Tata Sumo or a similar vehicle (at an additional cost )
Arrive at Joshimath by approx. 5 pm – (tea, briefing of the trek & dinner)
Breakfast and Lunch on the way (exclusive of charges)

Haridwar to Rishikesh (best place for white water rafting, trekking gear available on rent and purchase)
Rishikesh to Devprayag (confluence of Bhagirathi river and Alaknanda river)
Devprayag to Srinagar
Srinagar to Rudrapryag (confluence of Mandakini river and Alaknanda river)
Rudrapryag to Karnprayag (confluence of Pindar river and Alaknanda river)
Note: You can reach Rishikesh a day earlier for rafting. On the day of the trek, we can arrange your pickup from Rishikesh.
Day 02: Joshimath to Gulling top
Altitude: 9600 ft
12 kms drive and 6 kms trek, approx 4 hrs
The trail is a mix of steep and gradual ascent, mostly through villages.

Gulling village to Gulling top camp site (9600 ft) (0.5 km Trek)
Gulling Top to Khulara
Altitude: 11,122 ft
6 kms trek, approx 5 hrs
Steep ascent through oak, rhododendron (mostly pink and white), walnut forest
Lunch at camp site

Khulara to Gailgarh
Altitude: 12300 ft
3 km Trek, 3 hrs
First half is steep ascent and second half is gradual ascent.
Wide meadows with golden to bright green grass cover to cross in the summer that turns into rolling snowfields in the winter
Special care for protection from the harsh sun is required in these open meadows
Day 5: Gailgarh to Pangarchulla Peak Summit and Back to Khulara
Altitude: 14,700 ft
9 Kms trek, 7 to 8 hrs
Challenging and steep climb
We start trekking at 4 am as turnaround time is 08:00am

12 kms trek, approx 7 hrs and 12 kms drive to Joshimath
