Coorg, a prominent adventure destination in the Western Ghats, is decorated with some mesmerizing peaks. Amongst the famous peaks, one is the Kumar Parvatha, which stands tall with 1,712m height. The Kumar Parvatha is the second highest peak in Coorg and the sixth in Karnataka. 

About the Package:
This New Year and Christmas, we bring to you the thrilling adventure of a trekking activity in such a spot which is located at the edge of Coorg and Dakshina Kannada. The particular peak belongs to the Pushpagiri range of the Western Ghats and possesses immense beauty, concealed by the lush and verdant jungles. 

The Kumara Parvatha Trekking route is composed of excellent trekking trails that assures you with the mesmerizing scenes of jungles, flora and fauna, peaks, etc. On this occasion of New Year and Christmas, gift yourself with the stunning views of mountain landscapes.

In order to render utmost trekking delight, the New Year and Christmas special Kumara Parvatha trekking package includes food, accommodation, guide, and transportation from and to Bangalore, thus minimizing your hassles.

Stay:
You will be rendered with warm accommodation that would be provided in Tents. There are separate stays for boys and girls.

Meal:
The package is inclusive of Vegetarian food that will be served as 1 Breakfast, 2 lunch, and 1 dinner.

Pick Up points:
The package is inclusive of a comfortable pick-up facility from the following points:
Indiranagar near KFC signal at 9:00 PM.
Domlur near New Shanthi Sagar Hotel at 9:15 PM.
Opposite to 1MG-Lido mall at 9:45 PM.
Yeshwanthpur Metro station at 10.15 PM.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Get Picked Up from Bangalore & Start Your Trek

    On the Christmas/New Year Eve nigh, get picked up from Bangalore.

    Begin your overnight journey to Kukke Subramanya.

    We will be reaching early morning to the Kukke Subramanya.

    Reach Kukke Subramanya in the morning and get ready for a fun-filled journey.

    Freshen up in hotel rooms, have self-sponsored breakfast and take the packed lunch.

    We will leave any extra luggage in the hotel.

    Reach starting point of the trek and start the trek to Girigadde which will lead to our camping site near the forest check post.

    After reaching the forest check post, start pitching your tents.

    Have your packed lunch and relax for some time.

    Enjoy the sunset from Girigadde viewpoint and have tea at Buttermane.

    By 7.30 PM have dinner at the Buttermane which will be self-service.

    By 9:00 PM retire for the night.

  • Day 2 - Trek to Kumara Parvatha Peak & Return to Bangalore

    Wake up early morning for your exciting New Year and Christmas activities at around 3:00 AM.

    Freshen up and start packing your tents.

    Give entries at the check post and start your trek to Kumara Parvatha peak.

    Have Breakfast on the way to the peak.

    Reach Shesha Parvatha and enjoy the beautiful view among the clouds at Pushpagiri hills and spend some time (Based the timing the trek lead will decide whether everyone should continue the trek further or not to Kumara Parvatha).

    After the trek head back to the base camp and pack your luggage and head to Buttermane for lunch.

    After the lunch start descending to Kukke Subramanya, head to the hotel and freshen up.

    Start the journey to Bangalore.

    Have a self-sponsored dinner and reach Bangalore next day early morning around 5:00 AM.

  • The above pickup and timings as been selected based on the Bangalore traffic Jam and the timings will help the participants to reach on time to the campsite and maintain the time schedule of the trek.
