Natural Pool Homestay Near Darjeeling

Situated on a hilltop surrounded by beautiful mountains on one side and lush forested hills on all others, the stay is ideal for people looking to experience a typical rural community life with nature, peace, and wellness. The stay features one simple hut (Abundance and Simplicity), with a bedroom and a bathroom. While the room is kept simple to retain the rustic and natural ambience, it is very tastefully done up. The hut, and in fact all the constructions in the farm are done using natural materials available locally like stones, bamboo, mud, thatch, straws etc. The rooms are certainly inviting and cosy, with enough natural lights and large windows to offer great vistas of the farmland and nature around. One can find lots of books kept in the wooden rack to read, a guitar in case one like to play some music, a hat to wear when you go out in the sun to explore the farm, small wicker side-tables, hanging lights and so on.

-Swimming: Enjoy swimming and other fun activities in the freshwater natural pool.
-Organic farming: Volunteer for some farming activities like feeding and milking cows, fencing, gardening, etc. in the organic farm around the property and learn more about the culture.
-Trekking: Explore the beautiful trails going to the ruins of historical Dalim fort on top of a hill.
-Nature walk: Take a nature walk to the river nearby and enjoy some water activities.
-Yoga classes: The stay run Yoga classes as well. Join the class and meditate in the woods.
-Day Safaris: Apart from the farm activities Day Safari at Gorumara National Park or Jeep's arrangement to visit Neora Valley National Park also can be arranged.
-Bike rental: Stay offers the facility of renting bikes to explore the beautiful Darjeeling on pedals.

For outdoor enthusiasts, hike to the Fagu tea gardens and to the villages around is something not be missed. One can also explore the farm and the food forest that the local community has been growing, indulge on delicious and freshly cooked organic farm food, swim in the nearby river or in the in-house pool, lie down on the hammock and read books, take a walk through the village and jungle, paint, do some farming work, or just laze around and sleep.
