The Namo Buddha Tour is a fun-filled tour package which includes a visit to the idyllic religious site of the Namo Buddha statue, the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery which is an abode to over 250 monks, a monastic college and the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. This tour lets you traverse through the hills, mountain villages, terraced fields of paddy, verdant forests, and also introduces you to the rural livelihood of the Nepalese folk. This planned trip allows you to take a stroll around the monastery draped in layers of grandeur and mystical stories of the ancient past and sense the symbolic holy chant of the many monks if you are fortunate enough.

The Namo Buddha day tour provides you with comfortable hotel pickup and drop-off facility in a convenient private car. The package is also inclusive of all entrance fees for sightseeing places. The activity package is also inclusive of an experienced, helpful and friendly guide who would promote your safety and well-being throughout the trip.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    8:00 am: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel takes about 45 minutes.

    9:00 am: Hike from Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha takes about 3 hours. Enjoy the mountain views and beautiful landscape from Namobuddha and take lunch.

    1:00 pm: Hike down from Namo Buddha to Panauti it takes approximately two and a half hours and drive from Panauti to Kathmandu takes about 1 hour.

    3:30 pm: Drive back from Panauti to Kathmandu.
