About the Mardi Himal Trek:
The short Mardi Himal Trek aims at letting you grab the scenic mountain views, the soothing ambience of local villages, and witness the lush vegetation. The trek is composed of excellent trails which are based in the eastern part of the Annapurna region. On reaching the altitude of 4500 meters / 14,764 feet, you get to absorb the splendid views of Mardi Himal (5587 meters / 18,330 feet) and gather immense peace.
About the Mardi Himal Trek:
The trip begins with a short drive from Pokhara, followed by a beautiful journey through dense forests and excellent trails. On reaching the upper viewpoint, you catch the glimpses of the Mardi Himal along with other peaks such as Macchapucchre (6993 meters), Hiunchuli (6441 meters), Baraha Shikhar (7647 meters), Singu Chuli (6501 meters) Annapurna I (8090 meters), and Annapurna South (7219 meters).
Make your way through the alpine meadows to Mardi Himal Base Camp for grasping the entire panorama of the Annapurna range fills our view. Head back towards Lumre, from where you get back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.
The package is inclusive of transportation and an experienced hiking guide and takes care of the utmost safety of the participants by providing a medical kit. The package also lets you grab delicious full board meals (breakfast, lunch, and Dinner) during. You shall also be provided with accommodation during the trek in a local lodge. The package is inclusive of porters' charges who would be assigned to carry trekking bags and duffle bags. The Mardi Himal trekking is available throughout the year, but the best time to opt for the package is Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November). The trek covers places such as Dhampus village, Pothana village, Forest Camp, Rest Camp, Low Camp, Badal Danda, High Camp, Mardi viewpoint, Mardi Himal Base Camp, and Sidding village.

Know Before You Go for Mardi Himal Trek
- Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
- The management reserves all the right to modify the trek during any emergencies or natural calamities.
- Consult a physician before undertaking the trek. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the trek.
- Pay heed to the trek guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound trek.
- The trek takes place through an eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites. Travelers littering may be fined.
- Water is very precious, so conservation is appreciated.
- Do not encourage trekking during the night unless it is a part of the itinerary and a guide is with you; this might lead to unforeseen mishaps.
- Avoid using earphones during the trek; this might hinder your audibility.
- Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations.
- In case, the trek needs to be canceled, the authorities should be informed beforehand.
- Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of masks is recommended.

- Neat and clean vehicle for the journey with experienced drivers especially for hilly terrains available.
- Camping is very basic in nature. One must not expect luxuries. Electricity may be available only at a few locations.
- Mobile & laptop charging points may/may not be available on campsites at a common point.
- Any personal expenses, items of personal nature, meals not mentioned, etc. will not be in part of the package.
- Carry dry snacks/food from home (you will save a lot of money). Carry water bottles with you, so that you can refill.
- Keep your luggage minimum; the more you carry, the more you hassle.
- It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the Mardi Himal trek.
- Children below the age of 7 years are not recommended for Mardi Himal trek.
