About the Activity:

  • This is a one hour and 30 minutes long walking tour to witness the majestic Safdarjung tomb at Aurobindo Marg in New Delhi, representing the marvellous beauty of Mughal architecture.
  • Safdarjung was the prime minister in the ministry of Muhammed Shah.
  • Covered up by stones including red stones too, this tomb is the last one of a kind symbolising the prestigious reign of Mughal in India.
  • Nestled amidst a beautiful garden that spreads over an area of 300 Sq.M, the tomb is a gem of the tourist sector of Delhi till date.
  • The tomb of Safdarjung and his wife will be the first sights post which you can tread the trails through the alleys and gardens. 
  • At around 04:00 PM, the tour starts and winds up by 05:30 PM every Sunday and Saturday.
