Along with these two points, you are entitled to view other peak points within the trip which refers to Langtang Lirung (7227m), Yala peak (5500m), Ganesh Himal (7422m), and Jugal ranges. Langtang Valley Trek Itinerary

Day 1
ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
  • Welcome to the country of Mt. Everest! As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive you and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Hotel staffs will complete check-in and manage for your accommodation.
  • Later, savour on a welcome dinner at the hotel.
Day 2
KATHMANDU TO DHUNCHE (1960M.) SYBRU BESI (1503M) 7 HRS
  • On this day, we drive out to Syabru Besi from Kathmandu by Bus. The road is full of exciting scenes and views of mountains covered with forests.
  • We stay in a lodge in Syabru Besi. You can explore the surrounding area in the evening.
Day 3
TREK TO LAMA HOTEL (2500M.) 7 HRS
  • On this day, we follow the trail to Lama Hotel. The trekking is a pleasure to walk for about 6 hours passing through forests of rhododendron and bamboo. You can see some wild animals and experience natural life along the trail.
Day 4
TREK TO LANGTANG VALLEY (3430M.) 6HRS
  • On this day, we enter into Langtang Valley. The picturesque views along the trail are very pleasant and rewarding. The valley is the third most popular trekking area in Nepal with full of varieties of flora and fauna.
Day 5
TREK TO KYANGING GOMPA (3835M.), 3HRS
  • On this day, we trek to Kyanging Gompa. It is a short trek of about 3 hours with the views of mountains and snow-covered peaks.
  • In the afternoon, you can explore the Yak Cheese Factory. The fantastic views of the natural landscape and mountains are impressive.
Day 6
ACCLIMATIZATION DAY
  • On this day, you are entitled to have rest. You can go for hiking to Kyanging Ri at 4773m. You can freely explore the surrounding area. You can visit a Cheese factory and excuse the production methodology.
Day 7
RETRIEVE BACK TO LAMA HOTEL
  • On this day, we let you return back to Lama Hotel from Kyanging Gompa. The views along the way are impressive while returning back to the Hotel.
  • Later, stay overnight in Lama Hotel. You can explore the surrounding area if reached in time before evening.
Day 8
RETRIEVE BACK TO SYABRUBESI
  • On this day, we trek back to Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel. The trail is the same but the excitement is more while returning back to the destination. The views of mountains and natural vegetations are impressive along the valley through the trail.
  • Later, settle down in Syabrubesi for the night.
Day 9
DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU
  • On this day, we drive back to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi.
  • In the later part, you will be transferred to the hotel where you either have leisure time or you may catch the last moments exploring the missed sights or shopping for gifts to your nearest ones.
Day 10
DEPARTURE DAY
  • On the last day, the adventurous visit to Nepal comes to the end.
  • Before 3 hours of scheduled flight, our representatives will take you to the TIA. This is the time when you finally say goodbye to Nepal.

Know Before You Go for Langtang Valley Trek

  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
  • The management reserves all the right to modify the trek during any emergencies or natural calamities.
  • Consult a physician before undertaking the trek. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the trek.
  • Pay heed to the trek guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound trek.
  • The trek takes place through an eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • Water is very precious, so conservation is appreciated.
  • Do not encourage trekking during the night unless it is a part of the itinerary and a guide is with you; this might lead to unforeseen mishaps.
  • Avoid using earphones during the Langtang Valley trek; this might hinder your audibility.
  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations.
  • In case, the Langtang Valley trek needs to be canceled, the authorities should be informed beforehand.
  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government are to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of masks is recommended.

  • Neat and clean vehicle for the journey with experienced drivers especially for hilly terrains available.
  • Camping is very basic in nature. One must not expect luxuries. Electricity may be available only at a few locations.
  • Mobile & laptop charging points may/may not be available on campsites at a common point.
  • Any personal expenses, items of personal nature, meals not mentioned, etc. will not be in part of the package.
  • Carry dry snacks/food from home (you will save a lot of money). Carry water bottles with you, so that you can refill.
  • Keep your luggage minimum; the more you carry, the more you hassle.
  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the Langtang Valley trek.
  • Children below the age of 7 years are not recommended for the trek.
