One of the good but difficult trekking spots of Karnataka. The resting place available is about half way at Bhattaramane. Starting point is behind the Kukke Subrahmanya temple. We had gone in a group of 20 people aged 6 to 66 years. All family members. On the way you come across, Kallu Mantapa, Shesha Parvatha and then Kumara Parvatha we enjoyed a well diversified trek with my family and friends.

From the start till the end, it was a wonderful experience. The food was simple, the tents and sleeping bags kept us warm and the atmosphere was magical. The only suggestion I'd like to give is to verify the itinerary because there were a few discrepancies for this trip.

One of the beautiful trails in Karnataka. We started our ascend from Somwarpet side. Fairly 70-80% of the trail is under forest cover and there are a couple of small streams to quench your thirst. 3 steep inclinations near the peak were quiet enthralling. We were lucky enough to spot few neela kurinji bushes on the peak. Guide, Home stay and food were awesome. kudos to the operator for a wonderful trip.
