Overview

The jungles that inspired Rudyard Kipling's famous book of 'The Jungle Book', Pench is one of the most famous national parks of India. An abode to about 25 tigers and many other wild animals, this jungle resort stay in Pench is as wild as it gets.

Factual Information:
Located in the districts of Chhindwara and Seoni of Madhya Pradesh, Pench National Park is named after the river that flows through its territories. Home to about 25 tigers living in this prey-rich forest lands, Pench also features many other wild animals like the Indian Wild Dog (Dhol), Leopards, Hyena, Wolf, Jackal, and Jungle Cats. Apart from that, the region is also the home to Sambhar, Chital, Gaur, Muntjac, Langur, Wild Boar, and Rhesus Monkeys, alongside huge herds of deer. 
Also home to about 170 species of birds, Pench is a bird lover's paradise. 
The resort features many modern and amazing amenities like a restaurant, bar, free WiFi, indoor games, a great swimming pool, and an amazing room service.

Stay during the package will be in rooms at the resort on a double/triple sharing basis.

Activity:
Jungle Safari to spot a variety of wildlife here is the highlight of the package and steals the show. If you get lucky at this time, you will get to spot one of the many tigers that reside here. Apart from that, more great activities in nature include short hikes into the woods and birdwatching. You can swim in the resort's pool or just sit back and relax around the campfire in the evening. 

How to reach:

The nearest major cities to Pench with railway stations are Nagpur in Maharashtra and Seoni in Madhya Pradesh, lying at distances of 90 km and 70 km respectively. The nearest airport to Pench also lies in Nagpur at a distance of 120 km. From any of these cities, you can easily get a hired cab, bus, or road transport to arrive at Pench National Park.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival | Birdwatching | Nature Walk

    12 PM: Check-in to the resort and be greeted with welcome drinks

    2 PM: Lunch will be served.

    3 PM: Guests will leave for Birdwatching and Nature Walk which is 16kms away from the resort and will be conducted in an open-air gypsy.

    5 PM: Come back to the resort and have hi-tea.

    6 PM: Relax and Rejuvenate in the swimming pool or just lounge at the furniture.

    8 PM: Dinner will be served.

    9 PM: Campfire and Light Music will make the evening even more amazing. You can then call it a day and retire for the night.

  • Day 2 -

    6 AM: You will leave for the Morning Jungle Safari in Pench National Park. Lunch will be served during the Safari.

    11 AM: Come back to the resort, get freshened up and enjoy the indoor activities in the resort including snooker and Swimming.

    1 PM: Check out and get transferred to the Railway Station/Airport, bringing the experience to an end.
