Overview

About Jaisalmer:
A beautiful golden city on the edges of Thar desert will take your mind away! The city is rich in local heritage, handicrafts, colored markets and one can easily notice camels and nocturnal birds while moving towards the Thar desert.

About the camp:
The luxurious getaway camp in golden sand dunes, Sam, of around 45 kms from Jaisalmer will bring your right here. The camp offers multiple amenities and activities to welcome their guests and let them enjoy a lavish stay in swiss tents. The camp has about 35 tents with luxurious beds and interiors. It is well suitable for families as well as kids while offers them added advantages.

About the activity:
- Welcome yourself at the camping site by 3 in afternoon where hosts will greet you with a huge smile. Relax for some time in leisure here and head for camel safari by 6.30 in evening. Click pictures and enjoy sometime in desert life. 
- After coming back to the campsite, enjoy cultural performances and snacks right here. Along with them, dinner will be ready in a short time which you will be having under the starry sky.
- Snug deep in the swiss tents later at night. Next morning will be ready with breakfast after which you can leave from the camp taking memories along in your head.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Traditional Welcome | Safari | Dinner

    3.00 PM: Reach here and get welcomed in a traditional manner with a beverage.

    6.30 PM: Take camel safari to the desert dunes and click multiple pictures.

    7.30 PM: As the night dawns, relish the refreshments. Be a part of Campfire and Folk cultural affairs organized at the center of the camp. At the same time, get entertained by DJ party if you are coming in a group.

    9.30 PM: Enjoy some Rajasthani buffet dinner and post dinner stargazing. Sleep for the rest of the night in comfortable tented stays.

  • Day 2 - Breakfast | Return back to Jaisalmer

    Wake up in mid of cool breeze.

    8.30 AM: Relish the delicious breakfast in camp center.

    9.30 AM: Check-out and move towards Jaisalmer.

    Nice camping experience, and my parents and I had a blast watching the traditional folk performances, and tasting some of the authentic local cuisine! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

    Our tents even had net curtains which gave some mesmerizing desert views. These white swiss tents gave us a feel of living like a gypsy.

    This was definitely a very unique and luxurious experience right in the That desert, something that I have never done before. The tents were more like hotel rooms, and we had a nice time going on a camel in the evening, and watching the sunset views. One thing I would like to be changed is that they should also include some non veg meals in the package, and not just vegetarian.

    Apart from the regular folk music and dance shows, bonfire and a delectable buffet serving local food and stay in nice and clean tents, our package also included Camel safari which was a cherry on the cake. No words to describe our happiness.
