Just no words, it felt like the mountains were right in front of us. We loved the peace and quiet here, especially having come from Delhi, where there is so much noise and traffic, so this was definitely a relaxing experience for us, and I definitely recommend everyone travelling to Ranikhet to try out this stay!

Nothing beats waking up to the beautiful view of the Himalayan mountains right from your window. We were very well taken care of by the caretaker of the place, Ram, who made sure we got everything we needed, and we absolutely loved the meals that were provided during the stay.

I recently returned from my trip to Nainital and Ranikhet. This cottage was our stay point in Ranikhet. I liked the house, the wooden finish, and the spacious bedrooms but the fact that it is located uphill would terrify me of the endurance needed to reach.

The cottages in Ranikhet is spotted at Majkhali Village which is located at a distance of 12km from Ranikhet on Almora road and can be easily reached by hailing a taxi or a jeep from Ranikhet. If you are travelling from Nainital, there are no direct flights or trains or buses between Nainital to Ranikhet so you can travel via road.
The Ranikhet is located at a distance of 56km from Nainital and you can hail a taxi to reach the destination. If you are travelling by air then the nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport at a distance of 119 km. If you are travelling via train then the nearest station is Kathgodam railway station at a distance of 75km away.
A minimum of 2 people is required to book stay at the cottage in Ranikhet as this is a private tour. Get to enjoy the eco-friendly location with pollution free surroundings and the stay offers a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains.
