The freshwater mountain lake of Kareri sits in the Dhauladhar Range in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh at a higher altitude of around 2950 metres. Short Itinerary: Day 1 of the Kareri Lake Trek would commence upon your arrival in Dharamkot.

- The entire first day would be spent in getting acquainted with the surroundings.

- Day 2 is when the actual trek will start-off where you would walk past and through lush forests, over many rivulets and other resplendent landscapes of Himachal Pradesh till Reoti Base Camp and further to the endpoint, Kareri Lake. By the end of the day, you would return to the Reoti Base Camp and stay overnight at a campsite.

- Day 3 would be the end of the adventure with your departures for McLeodganj from Kareri Village.
