Factual Information:
Lying in the districts of Chhindwara and Seoni of Madhya Pradesh, the national park gets the name from the River Pench that flows through its lands. Rich in biodiversity, especially fauna, the jungle is the home to the dominant Tigers of Madhya Pradesh, who thrive in these regions because of the abundance of prey. Apart from them, other animals who call this place their home are Indian Wild Dog, Leopard, Hyena, Wolf, Jackal and Jungle Cat, alongside sambhar, chital, gaur, muntjac, langur, wild boar, and rhesus macaques. The most common however, are the herds of deer in the region.
Pench also happens to be a great spot for bird watching, with more than 170 species housed here. You can spot birds like peafowl, crow pheasant, junglefowl, red-vented bulbul, crimson-breasted barbet, magpie robin, lesser whistling teal, racket-tailed drongo, egret, pintail, shoveler, and herons here.

Stay:
The resort has beautifully decorated tents, rooms, and cottages as options for stay. You can avail any of these on a double or triple sharing basis.

Activity:
During your stay here, you will be enjoying recreational activities like Cycling, Swimming, Flying Fox and Burma Bridge, but the highlight of this excursion will surely be the Jungle Safaris and nature walks that you can enjoy here. You will get to explore the pristine jungles and the amazing wildlife of Pench while you are here. Indulging in some bird watching will also give you plenty of fun and photo ops.

How To Reach:
The nearest major cities to Pench with railway stations are Nagpur in Maharashtra and Seoni in Madhya Pradesh, lying at distances of 90 km and 70 km respectively. The nearest airport to Pench also lies in Nagpur at a distance of 120 km. From any of these cities, you can easily get a hired cab, bus, or road transport to arrive at Pench National Park.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival | Jungle Activities

    12PM: Check into the resort.

    After getting relaxed and refreshed, leave for Bird Watching in Eco Park.

    Feel Close to Wildlife by sighting wild Dhols, Nilgai, Leopards, and Deers.

    5 PM: Come back to the resort and have hi-tea.

    6 PM: Relax and rejuvenate in the swimming pool.

    8 PM: Dinner will be served. After this, you can call it a night and spend an amazing time overnight in the forest resort.

  • Day 2 - Jungle Safari | Check-out and Return

    6 AM: Leave for the Morning Jangle Safari in Pench National Park.

    Breakfast will be served on the safari.

    11 AM: Come back to the resort, get freshened up and leave for Flying fox and Burma Bridge.

    1 PM: Lunch and check-out.
