  • Ride from Lhasa and pass some of the highest and dangerous passes like Kamba La Pass, Yamdrok Tso, etc. as you also visit some of the beautiful monasteries along the way
  • Cycle along the Friendship highway surrounded by the snowy mountains, rejuvenating lakes and serene greenery.
  • End your trip by crossing the friendship bridge and cross the bridge to Nepal.
  • This tour can be avail for both Foreigners and Indians.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Arrive in Lhasa.

    Arrive in Lhasa by train or plane.

    When you arrive in Lhasa (3700m) you will be welcomed by your English-speaking local Tibetan guide and driver and they will bring you to your hotel and rest at hotel for acclimatization.

    Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 -

    Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple in the morning and Bakhor Street after noon.

    In the morning, visit the huge and magnificent complex of ancient buildings, breathtaking Potala Palace, which is the winter palace of the Dalai Lama, built in the 17th century by the fifth Dalai Lama.

    After that, explore the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred monastery in Tibet, and the surrounding Barkhor bazaar, the bustling Lhasa market.

  • Day 3 -

    Visit Drepung Monastery in the morning and Sera Monastery in the afternoon

    In the morning, go to explore the expansive Drepung Monastery which is the largest monastery in Tibet and the home monastery to all Dalai Lamas.

    In the afternoon, go to Sera Monastery to watch the monks’ debate in centuries-old manner

  • Day 4 -

    Cycling from Lhasa to the foot of Kamba La Pass (around 85 km)

    Start cycling from Lhasa towards Everest

    Cycle along the beautiful Tsangpo River to the foot of the Kamba La Pass.

  • Day 5 -

    Cycling from Yamdrok Tso to Karo La (54 km)

    Cycle along the Friendship highway which soon becomes a gravel roadway, through a ravine and up to the foot of the Karo La Pass (4750m)

    Overnight stay in a camp.

  • Day 7 -

    Cycling from Karo La to Gyantse (86 km)

    In the early morning, climb the high Karo La Pass (5010m) and see glaciers stretching down to 6000m and beautiful lakes,

  • Day 8 -

    Cycling from Gyantse to Shigatse (94 km)

    Ride to Gyantse Dzong and visit special Pelkor Stupa, renowned Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Gyangtse,

    In the afternoon, arrive in Shigatse (3860m) and stay one night in a comfortable hotel in there.

  • Day 9 -

    One day tour in Shigatse

    Take rest in the second largest city of Tibet, Shigatse

    In the late monrning, go to the expansive Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse.

  • Day 10 -

    Cycling from Shigatse to Gyachung Monastery (75 km)

    Ride over two small passes and through several small Tibetan villages, past the isolated Gyachung Monastery and camp.

  • Day 12 -

    Cycling from Lhatse to Shegar (around 80 km)

    Ride over the Gyatso-La (5220m) with breathtaking view.

    After a 40 km ride through prairie towns, arrive in Pelbar (Shegar) which is a popular stopover for anyone heading to the Everest region.

  • Day 13 -

    Cycling from Shegar to Pangla Pass (around 50 km)

    Ride toward Mt. Everest after passing through the border control point, you will be faced with 20km’s of uphill switchbacks before you reach the summit of the Pang Pass (5150m).

    Appreciate the most magnificent views of Everest and its surrounding peaks and travel 20-kilometer downhill follows to the Rongbuk Valley (4200m), to your camp

  • Day 14 -

    Cycling from Pang La Pass to Rongbuk Monastery (around 50 km)

    Reach Everest Base Camp

    Overnight stay in a camp

  • Day 15 -

    Exploration of Mt. Everest (Rongbuk)

    Get closer to Mt. Everest by taking a walk or cycling to Everest base camp, which is 8km from the campsite.

    Overnight at Rongbuk Monastery (Dormbed/Tents)

  • Day 16 -

    Cycling from Everst Base Camp to Tingri (around 90km)

    Leaving Everst Base Camp and head back down the bumpy road and then take a shortcut into the mountains.

  • Day 17 -

    Cycling from Tingri to Lalung Pass (77 km)

    Begin your journey with a flat ride (around 50km) and have a simple lunch on the way to Lalung Pass (4990m)

  • Day 18 -

    Cycling from Lalung Pass to Zhangmu (117 km)

    Tackle your last up hill, as youcycle up the amazing Thang Pass to 5050m

    On the way from Nyalam to Zhangmu (2300m), you will ride down past lots of waterfalls and pine trees line roads.

    Overnight stay in Zhangmu.

  • Day 19 -

    Last day in Tibet

    Cycle your last day in Tibet and cross the Friendship bridge to enter into Nepal.

    End of tour.
