Etili Village Tour With Lunch Overview

Trip Location: Ella

Delve yourself in the rustic village life in Etili during this private tour that will give you a unique experience about the traditional village agriculture in Sri Lanka. Get to know about chena cultivation, take a boat safari, and enjoy Sri Lankan lunch that will leave an everlasting impression in your minds.

About the tour:
-Pick up from your hotel in Ella or Bandarawela and then transferred to the Mirissa kade junction where you can start your journey to the village with a land master ride.
-As you reach Chena, you will be greeted with a traditional welcome drink before proceeding with Chena activities. Here you will get a chance to pluck fresh veggies on your own for the lunch. 
-After that, get ready for the boat safari at a nearby lake and enjoy views of birds and animals while enjoying a child beer / Fruit Juice.
-Now savor a delicious Sri Lankan lunch at mud house with curd. After having lunch, plant a sapling. There is a small hike that will bring you to a viewpoint, where you will see the whole area of the village and experience your herbal tea from there.
-After that, come back to the lake to relish the blissful sunrise. You will be taken back to your hotel and your tour ends with lots of sweet memories.

  • Day 1 - Etili Village Tour

    08:00 am: Pick-up from the hotel and drive to the village with a land master ride.

    10:00 am: Reach to the village.

    11:00 am: Boat Safari at a nearby lake.

    12:30 pm: Savour a delicious Sri Lankan lunch.

    01:30 pm: You can Plant a tree as your environmental contribution.

    02:00 pm: There is a small hike which will bring you to a viewpoint, where you will see the whole area of the village and experience your herbal tea from there.

    04:00 pm: Come back to the lake and view the sunset for a while.

    05:00 pm: You will be taken back to your hotel.
