About the Activity:
Fixed Departures: 24th June, 22nd July, and 12th August

  • Embark on a 7 day 6 night tour of Leh, just for women.
  • This trip is highly recommended as you get an opportunity to see the best of Leh with an insight of lakes, palaces, high passes, monasteries.
  • Start the tour from Leh after arrival at the airport from where you will be taken to your hotel.
  • The major places of Leh will be covered in the course of 7 days and 6 nights and will include the stay, transport , breakfast and dinner on all days.
  • During your trip, you will visit Pangong lake, Nubra valley, Hemis Monastery and a lot of places in and around Leh that showcase the best of Leh.
  • End the tour by departing from Leh airport on Day 7.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Arrive in Leh early morning and get transported to your hotel.

    Have breakfast at around 9.30 AM and spend half day acclimatizing.

    After lunch at the hotel, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Later in the evening walk around local market.

    Stay overnight at the hotel in Leh.

  • Day 2 -

    After breakfast, visit Hall of Fame (War Museum), Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Indus & Zanskar river confluence.

    In the afternoon, stroll around Leh local markets and acquaint yourself with the traditional culture of Leh. You can also shop and buy souvenirs.

    Dinner in the hotel before retiring for the night.

  • Day 3 -

    After some delicious breakfast, start your journey towards Nubra vallley via the Khardung La pass located at the height of 18,000 feet, making it the highest motor-able road in the world.

    The distance is around 120 km and the drive will take 4 to 5 hours.

    In the afternoon, reach the Hundur Sand dunes and relax for the day. Have lunch and head to visit Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes. between Deskit and Hunder Village.

    Overnight stay in camps at Hundur.

  • Day 4 -

    After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass.

    Reach Leh by afternoon.

    Enjoy evening at your own leisure or explore Leh market.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5 -

    After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.. it is the third highest motor-able road in the world.

    Arrive Pangong Lake which is the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by two countries India & China.

    Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing colors and fascinating high altitude of the lake.

    Overnight stay at a camp near Pangong lake.

  • Day 6 -

    After breakfast, drive back to Leh from Pangong lake. On the way visit the Hemis Monastery.

    Reach Leh in the evening and relax.

    Overnight stay in hotel at Leh.

  • Day 7 -

    After light refreshments in the morning, end your trip by getting dropped off at the Leh Airport for your home destination.
