A storyteller guide will accompany you to visit the popular spiritual places in manali. While exploring these places guide will tell you about the rituals, customs of the locals and the historic importance of the temples.

You will be walking around 3-4 KM to complete the tour.

Museum of Himachal Culture and Folk Arts

The museum of Himachal cultural heritage was established in in the year 1998, in Utopia Complex, Near Hadimba Devi Temple, Manali. The unique and extraordinary collection of unknown and rare antiques of Himachal Pradesh demonstrates the forgotten culture, art and handicraft.

Hidimba Temple

Locally known as Dhungari Temple,  It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The structure was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh.

Ghatotkacha Tree Temple

The Ghatotkacha Tree Temple is the ancient temple, which is devoted to the warrior Ghatotkacha born from the union of the Pandava Bhima and Hadimba. 

Manu Temple

The Manu Temple is said to be the only temple dedicated to the King Manu, who was later known as Sage Manu in India. The temple is a pagoda structure that offers a glimpse into history and spirituality through its fascinating architecture. The name Manali was derived from the Sage's name who is believed to be the creator of the human race.

Museum of Himachal Culture & Folk Art is located around 2 Km from the Mall Road of Manali. You can board a private cab to reach the start point.
