  • Day 1 - Drop off – End of the Trip

    Drop at Cochin Airport; end of the tour

    Today, you will be dropped to the airport as the amazing tour will approach to the final turn of the journey. With the hope of re-exploring God’s own Country on wheels, bid a ‘bye’ to your tour guide and the heart contend trip. 

  • Day 2 - Fort Kochi (Cycling Distance  40 kms/25 miles)

    Visit Vypin, Cherai Beach, Lunch in Cherai, Kathakalli in the evening, Local markets.

    Late morning, a ferry will take you to the Island of Vypin, which is 27 km in length and has the longest beach in Kochi, Cherai Beach. While cycling in this island, you can also explore the Kuzhupilly and Puthuvype Beach. By the time the cycling excursion reaches Cherai, it will be the time for lunch.

    After a rejuvenating session of some of the beach games pedal to the local fish farms and witness the local ways of catching crabs. Post this visit, you will be guided to the ferry jetty and the vivacious Kathakalli dance will amuse your evening. You can also get engrossed in shopping around the local markets.

  • Day 3 - Thattekad (Cycling Distance 40 Kms/25 Miles)

    Cherukunnam, Lush paddy fields and alluring canals, Thattekad Bird Sanctuary and Bhoothathankettu.

    After having breakfast in Fort Kochi, the cyclists will be transferred to a hamlet called ‘Cherukunnam’. Canals flowing in almost every direction magnify the attractiveness of the village. Lush green paddy fields and the tranquillity of the village will soothe you bicycle expedition. Here onwards, you can pedal towards the Edamalayar forests and the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary. Considered to be a paradise for the birdwatchers, the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary will surely offer a rejuvenating and peaceful experience.

    ‘Fort of the Spirits’ or ‘Bhoothathankettu’ will be explored after cycling around the sanctuary. Night-stay camps or stay at the resorts will be arranged.

  • Day 4 - Munnar (Cycling Distance 50 kms/32 miles) (2 Days - 50, 45 Kms)

    Munnar expedition, Tea and cardamom plantations, Stay in the estates

    A slow, yet pulsating ride will take you to Munnar. This region of Kerala is popular for their lush and green meadows, tea estates and spice plantations. Located at 1,600 metre above the sea level, Munnar is surrounded by three picturesque mountain streams; Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. While cruising through the rustic rural areas, ride uphill to the enchanting waterfalls in Munnar. On the way, you can also visit the tea and cardamom plantation areas in Munnar.

    Stay in Munnar will be organised in a bungalow amidst the tea estate or in the cardamom estate.

  • Day 5 - Munnar (Cycling Distance 45 kms/28 miles)

    Tea Museum, Shola Forests, Dairy farm.

    Another day amidst the peace and tranquil ambience of Munnar. Today, you can ride to the dam, dairy farms and the Shola forests. Eravikulam National Park, Anaimudi Peak, Mattupatty and Kundale dams, Pallivasal, Top- Station and the famous Tea-Museum will also be cruised today. With the ride to the Tea Museum and dairy farm, you can witness the plucking and processing of tea leaves, and can also buy local farm products prepared in these farms.

    With the befalling evening, ride back to the cottage and stay overnight.

  • Day 6 - Suryanelli (Cycling Distance 30 kms/18 miles)

    Chinnakanal village, Lockheart Gap, Bison Valley and Anaerangal Dam

    Today, you can ride to the Chinnakanal village, which is located at a distance of 30 km from Munnar. The route consists of steep climbs through the Lockheart Gap and Bisoon Valley. While riding to the village, the picturesque beauty of the valley will allure the riders close to the nature. Rooms will be arranged at a resort, from where you can witness some of the mesmerising views of the Anaerangal Dam and its water body.

    While at the resort, you can also taste a variety of tea, which include ginger tea, cardamom tea, green tea and masala tea.

  • Day 7 - Kattapana (Cycling Distance 65 kms/40 miles)

    Paddy fields, Kattapana, Cardamom hills, Cottage stays.

    Ride through the myriad stretches of paddy fields in the higher ranges while approaching Kattapana. On the way, you can pedal to one of the oldest and popular temples in the region. Lunch will be organised atop a silent, yet captivating hill. This hilltop is the best place to have a view of the plains of neighbouring state, Tamil Nadu.

    Post lunch, your cycling will turn into one of the spiciest tours of your life after you reach the Cardamom hills. The aroma of the surroundings will keep you engrossed and will surely offer a pleasant ambience to stay within.

    Night stay at jubilant cottages will be arranged within the cardamom estates.

  • Day 8 - Thekkady (Cycling Distance 10 kms/06 miles)

    Periyar National Park, Exotic animals, Cooking lesson, Hand-made chocolates.

    Today will be dedicated to the Periyar National Park in Thekkady. Explore and unfold the beauty of the Periyar National Park and its vast range of wildlife. You can either go for a jungle walk or opt for a rafting in the Periyar Lake. While in the park, you can spot some of the exotic as well as endangered species of wildlife. Elephants, Barking Deer, Langurs, Mouse Deer Dholes (Indian Wild Dogs) are some of the commonly found animals in the park.

    In the evening, the biking expedition will turn into a delicious experience when a delightful and tantalizing cooking lesson will be provided by the locales. Walk to the local markets and get some hand-made pack of spices, artefacts and chocolates.

  • Day 9 - Kuttikanam (Cycling Distance 30 kms/18 miles)

    Rolling hills, Tea factory, Churches, Mosques, Syrian lunch

    Today, you can ride to the misty green hills in Kuttikanam. A stay here will surely make you realise, why Kerala is bestowed as “God’s Own Country”. Basking in plantation history you can have the glimpse of the lives of the ‘British Sahibs’. Our route today includes riding through the rolling hills and several magnificent churches and mosques around the village. Visit to the tea factory will help you getting acquainted with tea processing.

    Lunch will be organised in perfect Syrian Christan style with fish curry and red boiled rice.
