About the Activity:

- Kovalam Beach in Chennai is one of the best places on the eastern coast to spend some memorable time camping on the sand and watching an amazing sunrise the next morning. This beach camping with a twist is something you must definitely try.
- Camp right on the beach and enjoy the breeze coming from the sea as you sit by the campfire and enjoy a clear sky above you.
- The highlight of this campsite, however, is the Discover Scuba Diving Course that is included in the package. Not only will you learn the basics of this amazing sport in the safety of a pool, you can choose to convert this session into an open water dive on the second day.
- Even if you are a non-swimmer, you can also become a part of this exercise so you can also enjoy the amazing life underwater.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Arrive at the Scuba Pool at 3.00 PM Post attendance your Scuba session will begin. The Pool Discover Scuba Diving Program (Happens in a swimming pool) takes you through the basics of scuba diving that covers basic safety rules, pressure effect, equipment and hand signs.

    Gear up in shallow water and get comfortable breathing underwater.

    Once you are comfortable, you will be getting a quick problem-solving workshop which covers questions like 'How to get rid of water in your mask and your breathing regulator?', etc.

    Then the rest of the session is focused on swimming around and fun games.

    Finish Scuba lessons and Reach beach camping location (15 mins from the pool) at 7.00 Gather for a tent pitching demo and camp briefing.

    Post briefing Check into your respective tents.

    Dinner will be served at a quaint sea facing café near the campsite followed by Campfire.

    Indulge in a bit of stargazing and snuggle up into the comfort of your tent or just lie down on the sand and gaze at the vastness called sky.

  • Day 2 -

    Wake up to the sound of gentle surf and watch the rising sun turn Bay of Bengal into a sea of gold & silver.

    Freshen up at the Scuba School. (If you have chosen for the open water dive, it will happen here before check-out)

    Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast Coffee/tea and head back home.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
