About the Campsite:
Vasind is an incredible escape just outside the Mumbai, the campsite is surrounded by the Mahuli Mountains and Bhatsai river ambles near to the camp. Camping by the riverside is a great experience for nature-lovers.

Make your camping an wonderful experience with several activities like Kayaking, Swimming, Fishing, and Swinging of the tree into the River. Also, you can go for a short forest trail or a longer hike to the top of Mahuli. You can enjoy the evening with the Bonfire and BBQ followed by delicious Buffet dinner.

This nature camping experience is best suited for couples, friends and family groups, solo campers and corporate groups.

You will be provided with mattresses, pillows, and blankets for a comfortable accommodation in the tents. The tents will be allocated on a double or triple sharing basis based depending on the size of the group. Enjoy your time to the fullest and create memories that will last in your mind forever.

How to Reach: 

This place is around 67 KM from Pune and 290 KM from Mumbai, You can easily reach there by public or private transport. The road is completely motorable. Catch a train to Kasara or Asangaon. Hire a taxi from the respective Railway Station to Campsite.

Camping In Vasind Itinerary

  • Day 1 - You can plan your DIY itinerary post checkin (here is the standard itinerary) -

    4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Check in at the campsite and get freshen up followed by high tea

    5:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Experience Kayaking, swimming, fishing and swinging of the tree into the river

    7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Bonfire with music, you can spend some quality time with your dear ones on riverside in peace of nature

    9:00 PM - Buffet Dinner and retire for night

    Alternatively, you can also plan your DIY itinerary by coordinating with campsite manager.

  • Day 2 - Your day 2 will look like this -

    7:00 AM - 9:00 - Short forest trail or sunrise trek, also a longer hike to the top of Mahuli and do some rhythmic exercises

    09:00 AM - Breakfast

    10:00 AM - 11 AM You may visit nearby places and do permitted water activities on riverside and checkout by 11 AM

    If you are planning to avail lunch on the day of checkout, you can coordinate with campsite manager, lunch time is between 12 PM to 2 PM

    Clean and nice everywhere! the arrangement was good with good services, we liked all the fun activities and the meals, we truly enjoyed fishing in the river whereas the other enjoyed the other activity. It was truly a great experience. The veg bbq was tasted good and the walk towards the forest was simply-amazing with the fresh air in the morning, the guide was nice to tell us the story of the place and even shared the experience with us.

    A warm welcome was received from the staff, we felt so special by that time, We walked all over the areas were nice with good views of the places and so greenery, the tents area was just close to the riverside was cool and plus it looks clean and spacious too which fit us in and very comfortable, necessary things provided to us, All the fun activity was very great and the staff was very polite arranged a bonfire session for us with good bbq facilities to enjoy the evening with some good music and stargazing. A very precious moment.

    I have enjoyed this camping! A very fun activity and the staffs were nice, the place has good scenery and the view from the Mahuli is amazing! the accommodation and the facilities were good, no-doubt the meals too were great. Felt so nice far from the evil of the city. Definitely worth it! You will have fun there for sure.
