Andharban Trek From Mumbai Overview

PIckup time: 11 PM Day1
Drop time: 8:30 PM Day 2 
Pickup Point: Chembur, Mumbai
Drop Location: Pritam Hotel, Dadar East

Andharban is a dense forest located near Pimpri in Maharashtra, an hour and a half away from Lonavala. Andharban trek is an ideal monsoon trek, shaded for the most part, and its speciality is that it’s a descending trail all the way. This is an evergreen Sahyadri forest, covered in mist and dreamy forest landscape in the Tamhini Ghats. The foliage is abundantly thick with cascading waterfalls as well as still water ponds. You will enjoy stunning views of Kundalika Valley and amazing species of flora and fauna. 

Andharban Trek From Mumbai trip starts as you meet the team at Pritam Hotel in Dadar East at 11 PM. You will reach the base village till 5 AM in the morning when you can rest on the bus till dawn. You can freshen up in the base village and will be served breakfast and tea till 6:30 AM.

Introduction and instructions about the trek will be given before getting started with it. Trek starts at 7:30 AM. You will reach the top till 10:30 AM where you can explore the surroundings. Lunch will be provided till 11:30 AM after which you will start your descend towards the base. Departure for Mumbai will start at 2 PM and tea and coffee will be provided en-route.

    Trip planned by Thrillophilia was straightforward, From the start, we met the driver on-time and dropped us to the village and had breakfast...the host gave a nice session about the activity and our guide was knowledgable of the place and shared the history of the place with us, the walked was not that tough and the sceneries of the place are spectacular... we had lunch and clicked photos...We had a wonderful day and tiring too...nice expereince with a nice crowd
