Arrival at Paro Internation Airport, transfer to Thimphu and sightseeing
Sightseeing at memorial Chorten, which is a Buddhist stupa built in memory of Bhutan’s Third king.
Visit Budha point where there is again Buddha statue and then visit takin Zoo which is a national preservation center for an endangered species called Takin.
Overnight in a hotel Thimphu
Drive to Punakha via Dochu La Pass and visit Chim iLhakhang built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley {popularly known as “The Devine Madman”
Drive to Punakha via Dochula pass. If the weather is clear, stop for a while at Dochula pass to view Higher Himalayas.
On the way visit ChimiLhakhang which was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley in the 15th Century.
In Punakha, visit the Dzong that was built by Shabdrung, in 1637, on a strategic place at the confluence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers.

Travel to Bumthang and visit Trongsadzong, which is a masterpiece of architecture with a maze of courtyards, passageways and 23 temples.
After breakfast drive to Bumthang via Wangdiphodrang. The scenery is beautiful – forests as far as the eye can see, and with TongsaDzong visible 20 kilometers away, at the end of the valley.
You will have the opportunity to visit TongsaDzong, which is a masterpiece of architecture with a maze of courtyards, passageways and 23 temples.
Continuing the journey eastwards, re-enter the forest and climb to cross the Yutong La (3425m).
Descending to the village of Chumey, the scenery is once again totally different as you enter the wide open Bumthang valleys.
After a short climb to Kiki La, turn a corner to begin the descent to Jakar. From some distance away, we can see JakarDzong, perched high above the village.
Sightseeing and hiking in Bumthang- often called 'Mini Switzerland'
This beautiful valley encapsulates a rich culture, Scenic beauty and hundreds of myth’s and legends. People often call it “Mini Switzerland”.
The drive from Trongsa to Jakar may only take about two hours but the change in scenery is dramatic.
The hills around Jakar are filled with monasteries dedicated to Padmasambhava who is said to have cured an ailing ruler and introduced Buddhism to the valley.
Bumthang is also home to one of the great Buddhist teachers, Pemalingpa.

On the way, sightseeing at Phobjikha valley which is considered to one of the most peaceful valley in Bhutan and winter home for an endangered species called ‘Black Naked Crane’.
Continue journey to Punakha and on arrival, check in at a hotel.
Drive to Paro valley which will take 3 hours, and on arrival lunch at a local restaurant.
Sightseeing is at Paro Dzong which is the main fortress of Paro valley.
Visit Kichu Lhakhang which is the oldest Buddhist temple in Bhutan built in 7th century. Then visit Drugyal Dzong which is a ruin fortress built in the 16ht century to Commemorate Bhutanese victory against Tibeten invasion.
After sightseeing, visit a traditional Bhutanese farm house to learn about the traditional life style of the Bhutanese people.

Arrival at Paro and hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery for about 2 hours
After breakfast drive towards Paro one of the most beautiful valleys in Bhutan with its slate-roofed farmhouses, graceful willow trees and rushing glacial river beneath snow covered peaks.
Take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, one of the most sacred places in Bhutan due to its association with Guru Rinpoche who is also the founding father of the Bhutanese form of Mahayana Buddhism.
The visit involves a two-hour climb on a steep footpath through beautiful pine forest.
Departure from Paro
Get dropped to the airport and depart for home.
