About the tour-

  • Arrive at your hotel in Auckland. the seat-in-coach will be transferred privately in the hotel. . the self drive guest will collect their rentals and reach the hotel.

  • Bid adieu to the ‘City of Sails,’ and head over to the Waikato region that paves way for Waitomo. The highlight of this tour will be the mystical Waitomo Glowworm Caves. An underground boat ride will take you to a cavern roof filled with a million of glowworms.  Can you imagine it in your head? 

  • Arrive to Rotorua the next day and visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve, the Agrodome, and Rainbow Springs. Do not miss the sheep and farm show of the Agrodome and trout and wildlife at Rainbow Springs. 

  • Fly from Rotorua to Queenstown (airfare is not included in the package). Spend a relaxing day in Queenstown or try optional activities, such as Gondola rides, bungee jumping, jet boating, and white water rafting (not included in the tour price).

  • Travel through the Central Otago region, town of Twizel, Lake Pukaki, Mt. Cook, the Church of Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo, and the Canterbury Plains to reach the city of Christchurch. 

  • Next day, the rental cars will be returned and guests will depart.

  • You will get breakfast from the second day of the tour daily.

  • Accommodation will be provided by us.

  • You can choose between ‘Standard’ and ‘Superior’ package. 

  • Return Airport transfers will be provided by us.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - ARRIVE IN CHRISTCHURCH

    Arrive in Christchurch

    On arrival, seat-in-coach guests will be met and privately transferred to hotel

    Self drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel

    All the guests will gather at the hotel

    Overnight stay at the hotel before we begin the journey

  • Day 2 - AUCKLAND - WAITOMO - ROTORUA

    Have breakfast

    Bid adieu to the ‘City of Sails’ and travel through the verdant pastures of Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo

    Enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves

    The tour includes an underground boat ride to limestone caves filled with millions of glow worms on the cavern roof

    On completion, continue the trip to the forested region of Mamaku Ranges

    Finally, reach the ‘Thermal City’ of Rotorua (B)

    Overnight stay at the hotel

    Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua: 336km (approx 4hrs, 30mins)

  • Day 3 - ROTORUA

    Have breakfast

    Start your trip to the mystique Te Pui Thermal Reserve

    Next stop will be the splendid sheep and farm show at Agrodome

    We will also visit the vibrant Rainbow Springs to view trout, birds, and its incredible wildlife.

    This afternoon is at leisure (B)

  • Day 4 - ROTORUA - QUEENSTOWN (OWN ARRANGEMENTS)

    Have breakfast

    Take domestic flight from Rotorua to Queenstown (airfare is NOT included) (B)

    Arrive at the hotel for overnight stay

  • Day 5 - QUEENSTOWN

    Have breakfast

    Next day will be free for you to unwind or explore the endless optional activities

    Queenstown offers bungee jumping, jet boating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more

  • Day 6 - QUEENSTOWN - MT COOK - CHRISTCHURCH

    Start the next part of your journey and travel through the Central Otago region

    A little stopover in the small town of Twizel

    Continue traveling North along the pristine shores of Lake Pukaki

    Arrive in Mt Cook, the highest mountain peak in New Zealand

    Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo

    Cross the lush green verdure of the Canterbury Plains

    Arrive in the ‘Garden City’ of Christchurch (B)

    Overnight stay at the hotel

    Queenstown - Aoraki Mt Cook - Christchurch: 572km (approx 7hrs, 10mins)

  • Day 7 - DEPARTURE DAY

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
