Take the delight of enjoying safaris in Gal Oya National Park in jeep and boat.

The package provides you with hotel pickup and drop-off facility along with comfortable accommodation in Adaviya Resort on full board basis, in order to enhance the travelling delight. The package includes a Vedda village visit with the services of a professional guide and all government taxes during the sightseeing tour.

You shall also gather waterfall trekking experience and an afternoon jeep safari in Gal Oya National Park with the package. Besides, a complimentary morning boat safari in Gal Oya National Park is also arranged for maximum customer satisfaction.

You also receive refreshments and water bottles during the safaris along with the transfers facility to your next destination for some selected cities only. The cities are Kandy, Polonnaruwa, Pasikuda, Dambulla, Kataragama, Tissamaharama, Yala, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Pasikuda, Arugam Bay, and Hambantota. 

Timings: The time duration of the activity is 3 days and 2 nights and starts at 6.30 am in the morning of the first day.

Starting/End Point: The activity provides a comfortable pick-up and drop-off facility to and from your hotel in Colombo.

Note: The minimum number of people required to book the package is  2 and the maximum is 5.

Gal Oya National Park And Vedda Village Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Colombo - Mahiyanganaya

    06:30: You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Mahiyanganay.

    12:30 On arrival at Mahiyanganaya, you will check in to Adaviya Resort for lunch.

    14:00 You will be taken to DAMBANA, the remote jungle village of indigenous people.

    18:00 Arrive back to your hotel and spend a couple of hours at leisure before enjoying your dinner. Spend overnight at Adaviya Resort

  • Day 2 - Mahiyanganaya - Gal Oya

    08:00 After breakfast, you will start your waterfall trekking. This will be a wonderful experience through the jungle. Be ready for a swim in a freshwater natural pool.

    11:30 Arrive back to your hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will spend a couple of hours at leisure before starting your safari at Gal Oya National Park.

    14:00 Proceed with your first adventure Safari in the Gal Oya National Park by Jeep.

    18:30 Arrive back to your hotel and spend a couple of hours at leisure before enjoying your dinner. Spend overnight at Adaviya Resort

  • Day 3 - Gal Oya - Colombo

    05:00 Wake up early and have your breakfast before starting the morning safari by Boat.

    06:00 Leave with your guide to do an exciting safari in the National park by boat. Enjoy the only experience in Sri Lanka that allows you to spot wildlife from the water. A 2-3-hour safari by boat, and a scenic 40-minute drive from the lodge to the lake is perfect to explore the national park and surrounding villages.

    11:30 Arrive back to your Lodge and proceed back to your next destination. We will drop you at your next destination
