Package Booked: Best of Phuket and Krabi Tour Package
Anushka Tripathi knew exactly what she wanted for her first wedding anniversary. A beach with warm water, somewhere far enough from Gurgaon that work could not follow.
Thailand checked every box, and so she started looking. "I came across Thrillophilia while I was searching different packages for Thailand on Google," she said. And one week later, the trip was booked.
A few months after that, she and Abhishek were on a speedboat to Phi Phi Island, and she was already running out of words for the colour of the water.
A journey of breathtaking views, island escapes, and unforgettable moments with Thrillophilia
"I think Thrillophilia served us what we were looking for. I rate my experience as 10 out of 10."
That satisfaction stayed with her even after the trip. In a Tripadvisor review shared later, Anushka wrote, “Had a great experience with Thrillophilia for our Thailand trip. The coordination from the team and ground staff was smooth throughout the journey, which made the trip hassle-free and enjoyable. They also customised the itinerary according to our preferences and requirements, which we really appreciated. Overall, a well-managed and memorable experience.”

Phuket Served as the Right Kind of Start
They landed in Phuket on the 23rd of April and were driven to Zenseana Resort and Spa, which set the tone for everything that followed.
The first evening was theirs to settle in, decompress, and let the fact of being in Thailand properly land. Phuket has a way of making that easy. The air is warm, the pace slows immediately, and the resort gave them exactly the kind of quiet arrival that an anniversary trip deserves.
Phi Phi Island: The One That Stayed With Them

The second day was Phi Phi Island by speedboat, and this turned out to be the highlight of the entire trip. "The best part of our trip was the Phi Phi Island tour because we got to see a lot of beautiful islands, crystal clear water, so that was really impressive, and we could not take our eyes off the water," Anushka said.
That is the thing about Phi Phi. The photographs exist, you have seen them, and you think you are prepared. Then the speedboat rounds a corner and the actual colour of the water is there in front of you, and it turns out no photograph has ever done it justice. The islands themselves are dramatic, the snorkelling is excellent, and lunch on the island between stops is the kind of midday break that makes an already good day considerably better. Eight hours out on the Andaman Sea, and they came back sunburned and completely satisfied.
Old Town Phuket, and Then a Candlelight Dinner
Day three had two very different halves and both of them landed well. The morning was a Phuket City Tour taking in Old Town Phuket, which is the part of the island that most beach-focused itineraries skip and really should not. The Sino-Portuguese shophouses in faded pastels, the quiet streets, the small shrines tucked between buildings — Old Town is genuinely charming and gives you a sense of the island's history that the beach strip does not.
The evening was a candlelight dinner at a restaurant in Phuket with a private transfer. For a first anniversary trip, the timing of this was exactly right. End of the Phuket leg, a proper celebratory dinner, and Krabi waiting the next morning.
Into Krabi: The Pearl of the Andaman

The drive from Phuket to Krabi on the 26th brought them into a different kind of landscape. The limestone karsts start appearing as you approach, rising out of the sea and the flat land around Ao Nang in a way that makes the whole place feel slightly theatrical. GLOW Ao Nang Krabi was their base for three nights, well located and close to the beach strip.
The first Krabi afternoon was free, which was the right call after three full days in Phuket. Ao Nang beach, the longtail boats lined up at the waterfront, the karsts in the background catching the late light. A good evening to just be somewhere beautiful without needing to do anything about it.
The 7 Island Sunset Tour: Luminescent Plankton and Thai Dinner
Day five was the one Anushka described as "really beautiful," and it is easy to understand why. The 7 Island Sunset Tour by longtail boat covers more of Krabi's coastline than the standard tours, and doing it at sunset means the light on those limestone cliffs is at its most extraordinary. They ended with luminescent plankton in the water after dark, which is exactly the kind of thing that sounds like a gimmick until you are actually sitting in a boat watching the sea glow around you, and then it is something else entirely. Thai dinner rounded the evening out. A long, unhurried, genuinely special day.
The Jungle Tour: Emerald Pools and Tiger Cave

The final full day in Krabi took them inland, which is a side of the province that most visitors never see. The Krabi Jungle Tour covered the Emerald Pool, a natural turquoise pool in the middle of the rainforest that is exactly as striking as it sounds, the Hot Spring Waterfall where geothermally warmed water cascades into bathing pools in the forest, and Tiger Cave Temple, a Buddhist site at the top of 1,237 steps with views over Krabi that put the whole week into perspective. Lunch was included, and eight hours in the jungle rounded off Krabi in the best possible way.
Why Anushka Choose Thrillophilia?
Anushka was looking for a package that did not just tick the obvious boxes but actually matched what she and Abhishek wanted from the trip. "I think Thrillophilia served us what we were looking for," she said, and that straightforward sentence covers a lot of ground.
The itinerary moved between Phuket and Krabi with a logic that made sense. Phi Phi on day two while they were fresh and the energy was high. The candlelight dinner timed perfectly for the anniversary itself. The sunset island tour in Krabi as the trip's emotional high point before the jungle day brought it home. These are not accidental sequencing decisions. They are the result of someone sitting down and thinking about what a couple on an anniversary trip actually needs from seven days in Thailand.
The hotels were well chosen for the experience they were going for. Zenseana Resort in Phuket gave them a proper resort feel to start. GLOW Ao Nang put them right in the heart of Krabi. Transfers were handled throughout, private where it mattered and shared where the activity called for it.
"We visited Phuket and Krabi this time. We covered Phi Phi Island tour, Phuket city tour and we also did this sunset island tour in Krabi, which was really beautiful," Anushka said, listing it out with the satisfaction of someone who came with a wishlist and left with everything on it crossed off.
Water so clear it stopped them mid-sentence. "I highly recommend Thrillophilia to my friends and family," Anushka said.
That is what a 10 out of 10 looks like.
