Their first honeymoon and also their first time in South India. "This trip was truly special to us because we were visiting South India for the very first time," Arghyamalya said.

Four days in Munnar and Kochi, and they said: "This was a very special and very memorable experience for both of us." For a honeymoon, that is exactly the bar you want to set.

Arghyamalya & Jayita’s Kerala Journey, Where Every Moment Felt Magical

The Drive to Munnar Sets the Tone for the Entire Trip

They landed at Cochin International Airport and were driven straight to Munnar, with en route sightseeing built into the journey. The drive from Kochi to Munnar is one of those routes that does all the work for you. The road climbs steadily through rubber plantations and spice gardens before the tea estates start appearing, green and rolling in every direction. By the time Arbour Resort came into view, the couple had already had their first proper taste of what Kerala looks like when it is being itself. Three nights here, and Munnar had plenty left to show them.

Day Two: The Jungle Safari and the Sunrise

Arghyamalya & Jayita’s Kerala Adventure with a Touch of Wildlife

Day two was the full-day Munnar highlights tour, and this was the one Arghyamalya kept coming back to. "Day two was really exciting because we started early with a jungle safari and we witnessed that mesmerising sunrise there." Starting a day in Munnar with a jungle safari at dawn, the mist still sitting low over the tea estates and the light coming up slowly through the forest, is the kind of morning that stays with you. After the safari, the day continued with dams and waterfalls that Arghyamalya described simply and honestly. "Those were so beautiful." Sometimes that is the only way to say it.

Day Three: Munnar at a Relaxed Pace

The third day was a dedicated couples sightseeing tour, which is its own kind of Munnar experience. The tea museum, the viewpoints, the estate roads that wind through plantations so green they look almost artificial. Munnar in April is warm, but the altitude keeps it comfortable, and a full day moving through the hills together at your own pace, in a private vehicle, with no group to keep up with, is exactly how a honeymoon itinerary should be built.

Kochi as the Last Experience of the Trip

Arghyamalya & Jayita’s Kerala Journey Filled with Culture & Firelight

The last day was the drive back down to Kochi with a half-day city tour built in before departure. Fort Kochi, the Chinese fishing nets, the old Dutch and Portuguese architecture along the waterfront. Kochi is a city that wears its history lightly and rewards a slow walk through its older neighbourhoods. Four hours of it was enough to leave them with a genuine sense of the place before the drive to the airport and the flight home.

Why Thrillophilia

Arghyamalya was direct about this. "Thrillophilia has really planned the trip well, and it was too comfortable." That word, comfortable, coming from someone on his honeymoon in an unfamiliar part of the country, means something specific. It means nothing fell through. The transfers showed up, the hotels were right, the activities were sequenced in a way that made each day feel natural. For two people experiencing South India for the first time, that kind of comfort in the background is what allows you to actually be present for the trip itself.

A private sedan throughout, three nights at Arbour Resort in Munnar, two full days of sightseeing plus the safari morning, and a Kochi half day on the way out. Clean, well-paced, and built around what a couple on a honeymoon actually needs.

"This was a very special and very memorable experience for both of us," Arghyamalya said.
