Choosing a travel partner today can feel a bit like scrolling through an endless social media feed- lots of flashy pictures, but hard to know who to trust. For Prahalath Ramakrishnan and Rakshitha Gangoor, the stakes were extra high. They were planning their very first international holiday with their baby girl. Traveling with an infant means you can't just wing it; you need a plan where everything runs like clockwork, stays on time, and leaves zero room for mistakes.
After looking around, the couple decided to go with Thrillophilia because the 10-day Japan plan set up by travel expert Chelsy Soni was highly affordable. More importantly, the team was happy to tweak the itinerary, so it perfectly matched the needs of a young family. From sorting out visas to picking family-friendly hotels, safe day trips, and smooth airport rides, everything was locked in before they left. With their guest experience officer, Divyansh Bhati, keeping a close eye on things and uploading all tickets early, the family boarded their flight from India with total peace of mind.
Vibrant Osaka and Sacred Valley Wonders

The family landed in Tokyo in late September of 2025, where a big private van met them right at the gate. They headed straight to the station to catch the super-fast bullet train to Osaka. Hauling a stroller and heavy baby bags can be exhausting, but the smooth ride brought them comfortably to the Richmond Hotel Namba Daikokucho for a cozy three-night stay.
Being vegetarians, Prahalath and Rakshitha were worried about finding things they could eat in Japan. To their surprise, the hotel served great free breakfasts with Indian vegan options. Plus, because Divyansh had picked a central hotel, they found plenty of Indian restaurants just a short walk from the lobby.
On their third morning, they took a day trip to Kyoto and Nara. The tour was beautifully organised, with the pickup spot just a quick walk from their hotel, saving them plenty of time, money, and energy. Their baby girl had the absolute best time in Nara, watching the famous local deer wander through the green parks.
Standing Before Mount Fuji and Coastal Shrines

The absolute best part of their autumn trip came on the sixth day with a trip to see Mount Fuji. The morning air was crisp and clear, giving them a perfect view as their bus drove up the mountain. Prahalath and Rakshitha held their daughter close, looking up at the majestic, snow-capped peak against the bright blue sky. It was a beautiful, postcard-perfect moment that made their first family trip feel like magic.
The next day, they headed out of the neon-lit capital for a coastal trip to Kamakura and Enoshima. They visited the historic Kotoku-in Temple to see the Great Buddha, a massive, outdoor bronze statue that has stood under the open sky for hundreds of years. Afterward, they walked through the quiet, flower-filled gardens of Hase-dera Temple overlooking the sparkling ocean. The gentle sea breeze and the calm, peaceful atmosphere kept their baby girl completely relaxed and happy all afternoon.
Digital Wonderlands and a Tension-Free Return

Using their free 24-hour subway passes, the family headed to teamLab Planets, a famous digital art museum, at 11:00 AM. Walking barefoot through the rooms, their little girl was completely spellbound by the endless glowing crystal lights, floating digital flowers, and colorful projected fish swimming across the water-covered floors. It was an amazing, hands-on experience that both the parents and the baby loved.
On their way home, the family looked back on their wonderful vacation. Prahalath was incredibly happy with how smoothly everything went:
"It was overall very good experience. From visa assistance, hotel bookings, various day trips, airport transfers everything was delivered as planned and on time. We had no reason to call customer support for anything during our trip . Customer support called us in frequent intervals to check if we had any difficulties. We were able to enjoy our Japan trip smooth without any tension . Thank you Thrillophilia team for making our Japan trip such a memorable one ☺️"
Upon returning, Prahalath shared his review on Google Maps:
"There are so many travel companies now in this era of social media and it is so difficult to choose one. We decided to go ahead with Thrillophilia as we felt the quotation they gave us for a 10 day trip to Japan was really reasonable...... In fact Divyansh was calling us on frequent intervals to check if everything was ok. On the whole we are really happy and we look forward to travelling more with Thrillophilia 🙏Tons of thanks to Thrillophilia for making our Japan Trip a really memorable one ☺️"

Why the Couple Chose Thrillophilia?
For Prahalath and Rakshitha, this was a special first trip, and they couldn't risk getting stranded or lost. They needed a holiday that kept their baby comfortable while still letting them explore.
The couple chose Thrillophilia because of the personalised care and smart planning:
- Super Close Stays: Every hotel was chosen to be just a short walk away from the bullet trains and tour pickup spots, meaning no long, tiring morning walks with a tired toddler.
- Easy Vegetarian Food: Stays were booked right in the heart of great food spots, complete with breakfasts that included Indian vegan dishes, plus plenty of nearby Indian restaurants.
- Friendly Check-ins: Instead of leaving the family to figure things out on their own, all tickets were sorted online beforehand, and their guide, Divyansh, called regularly just to make sure they were happy and safe.
By taking care of all the tricky logistics like travel times and food options long before the flight took off, the team removed all the typical stress of going abroad. This allowed Prahalath and Rakshitha to simply enjoy being parents, watching their daughter laugh with the deer of Nara and marvel at the bright lights of Tokyo without a single worry.
