Roothi Rani Ka Mahal trek is a serious trek of about 4 km.Once on the top wonderful views of the lake and the surrounding countryside from the palaces greet the trekkers. Boat rides cost about Rs 30-80.

By train: The nearest railway station is at Abu Road, in the lowlands 27 km southeast of Mount Abu town. The station is on the main Indian Railways line between Delhi, Palanpur and Ahmedabad.
