  • 01 Tsavo East National Park

    The Tsavo East National Park is not only one of the oldest parks but it also among the largest ones in the country. Most tourists visit Kenya for its wildlife and visiting the Tsavo East National Park must definitely be in your travel itinerary. Highlights:The major attractions of the National Park include the Mudanda Rock which is 1.6 km of stratified rock. You can also spot various elephants and other wildlife animals from this point. Other attractions include the Yatta Plateau, Lugard falls, Aruba Dam and much more. Location:The park is very close to the town of Voi in the Taita Taveta County in Kenya. Timings:The Timings for the National Park are from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening. If you are planning a trip, make your schedule accordingly. Price:There is an entry fee to park which varies upon your age and residence. It starts from KSH 600 and ranges up to KSH 1200.

  • 02 Mzima Springs

    Mzima Springs is composed of a series of four different natural springs in the Tsavo East National Park. It is located towards the western region of the park and is a major tourist attraction inside the park.

    Highlights: One can spot hippos as well as Nile crocodiles in the vicinity but tourists aren’t allowed to go that far, you can however spot them from a distance. There are beautiful trees that bear fruits in the region which provides for a good photo opportunity. Location:The springs are located inside the Tsavo East National Park in Kenya.

    Timings: Since the National Park Timings are from morning 8 to evening 5, you can visit the springs during this Timings slot only.

    Price: There is no additional price for visiting the springs, it is included in the fees you pay while entering the Tsavo East National Park.
