About 253km from Bangalore, the day long rafting adventure at Sitanadi is ideal for domestic and international travellers. Families with kids, couples, backpackers and corporates can enjoy this enthralling experience.
Activities: White Water Rafting
The 6km rafting adventure begins with your arrival at the Sita River Base Camp at 11:00 am; you will be taken through a small session, where you will be given details on the activity, safety instructions and the various things to keep in mind while undertaking the activity. At 11.30 am, you can head straight to the Sita River where you can feel the rushing grade 4 rapids in the majestic river for over 2 hours.
After an eventful and exciting adventure, enjoy some delicious lunch at 1:00pm, for those who wish to continue the adventurous trip, you can take trek to the Koodlu Teertha, this 3km trek that begins at 2.30pm offers majestic sights of a plunging waterfalls. For those who are not trekking, this exciting day comes to an end after you return to the Sitanadi Nature Camp, Hebri from where you can depart for Hassan at about 6:00pm and reach Bangalore at 10:00pm.
