The bells of the temples at the ghat start ringing at the same time making the atmosphere enchanting. People float diyas on the river to show their respect. Although early morning aartis are also beautiful in the wake of the dawn, it is the evening aartis with vibrant lights from the candles and diyas, which draws more attraction.Location - harkipodi, near Krishna Dham, Kharkhari, HaridwarTiming - Aarti timings: 5:30 AM - 6:30 and 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. This was my maiden trek and I am glad I chose Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Saheb. I carried home tonnes of great memories from the trip that I will cherish for my life. Serene Nature, Splendid weather, a great company of cousins, new friends we made and the team who lead the trek made a perfect mixture to cherish. While the chirpy young kept the team charged, the conviction of the others was inspirational to the rest. I am also glad that Thrillophillia conducts this trip which I came to know after reading thrillophilia reviews. The field team lead by Yogi and Sandeep was awesome. At some point or other everyone in the group were amazed with their knowledge, patience, perseverance, untiring efforts to make the trip a memorable and comfortable one for the entire team. Their daily briefing was quite interesting. Valley of flowers amazed us with the nuances it offered every minute. The continuous rain, the chill of the breeze, narrow steep path, rolling stones, changing landscape every minute, moving clouds around you, crossing the river over narrow bridges…. The list goes on and on Hemkund Saheb is another marvel. This place left most of the team members ecstatic. What a bliss. The only place I have seen made many people cry with joy. A place that one must visit atleast once in their lifetime. The trek(mule ride), the hospitality at the Gurudwara were breathtaking. It was a testimony to what faith can bring out of people. We could see people of all age groups from 3 to 70+ trek all the way from Govindghat to Hemkund Saheb, carrying children and luggage on shoulders and sometime on mules. Wow… We were exposed to a new world of Ghangaria which come alive in March and sleeps over from October. A town that has everything active only for 4 months.
"it was incredible experience. VOF is famous for its 80 and more rare flowers species. trek was 12000 ft above from the sea level. It was not easy but when I saw the colors of flowers it inspired me to go ahead and explored more.."
"once in a lifetime journey, must visit place and wonderful experience with Thrillophilia"
So we were a group of 10. First were skeptical about how the trip would be manged by them as it was our first time plus everyone was about 50 year age but once we reached there evrything looked well managed and the staff was very nice and friendly. They explained everything to us very nicely.
When the trek got a bit difficult for couple of them, subhash and jaydeep were very helpful. Special thanks to them.
Ofcourse the trek is beautiful and no doubt about that.
"If a passing cloud, a sight of a waterfall, lush green landscape, or a cool breeze makes you crazy, then this is the perfect trek for you. If you dream about walking through green forests, valleys, trekking by the side of flowing rivers, touching mountain tips and snow peaks enveloped in rain and clouds, then this trek will make all your dreams come true. No camera or video cam can catch even 10 percent of the actual beauty of the pure serene wonderful landscape created by God with special care to be a feast for the eyes of nature lovers. So all you see in photos and videos is nothing when compared to what actually one feels during the trek. Don't forget to taste the purest coolest tastiest spring water which takes away the strain n tiredness from your body. But don't worry. a guide is always with you throughout the trek to tell you all the details and to watch your every step. Thanks to Thrillophilia for making the trek most comfortable and memorable. But more care can be taken about the food provided during the stay. Overall it's a compulsory trek which none of the nature lovers can miss."
Thrillophilia had arranged a private departure for our group as we only want to visit the valley of flowers as we do not have 6 days time with us. The trek was very well coordinated and perfectly arranged. We had enjoyed our time during the trek.
We had visited the trek in August month which was the peak time to go there and it was raining heavily during the trek. Thrillophilia has experienced guides and even in that heavy rain, we were able to complete the trek. The hotel stay during the trek was decent and the food provided was nutritious and good. Overall the trek was worth a visit and Thrillophilia arranged it very professionally.
The trekking experience to Valley Of Flowers Trek was amazing and tiring also. The trekking terrain is easy no doubt but the trekking kilometers are many. Visiting the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib was a great lifetime experience we had.
We were 60 plus a couple and decided to go to the valley of flowers and was in good physical health. We had a call with Udgeeth and he let us know about the availability of mules if at any point we are unable to trek and we hired them and had great experience of trekking and visiting the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib without any hassle.
The valley looks so beautiful and has a great variety of flowers to see. The valley is also so big that we can not cover the entire valley as we get tired. It was worth the efforts of trekking to see the beautiful flowers.
