Visa Requirements

Chiang Rai is a city in Thailand and is governed by the country’s visa regulations. If you have booked one of the Chiang Rai tour packages, then you will need to apply for an E-visa. The visa will be issued as a single-entry tourist visa with a validity of 3 to 6 months. With this visa, you will be able to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days by paying the cost of Rs.2500. You can change your visa to a multiple-entry tourist visa, if required, by paying Rs.12000. Thailand has currently declared a new visa exemption rule for Indian tourists, as per which they can enter the country without a visa and stay for 30 days for tourism purposes only. The new rule is valid from 10th November 2023 to 10th May 2024.
