Chang La Pass Trek
The majestic Himalayas have always offered amazing opportunities for adventure. This trek takes you through a largely unexplored route, which was once a popular route connecting India and Tibet.
The trekking trail is named after FM Bailey and offers amazing views of eastern Himalayas, taking you through some really high passes and a really old village as well.

Itinerary of Chang La pass trek package
Day 01: Guwahati to Dirang Dzong We take a 10-12 hour drive from Guwahati to Dirang Dzong, stopping at Tipi Orchid Research Centre enroute.
You get to know about several endangered species of orchids at the research centre. There is an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Dirang Dzong to Chander After an early morning breakfast, we drive to Namshu village. From Namshu village, we take a trek through dense forests to Chander Village for an overnight camp.
Day 03: Chander to Thungri From Chander, we take an uphill trek through forests to Thungri.
Enjoy the views of the snow clad peaks and the gorgeous valleys. There is an overnight camp at Thungri.
Day 04: Thungri to Chang La Pass This part of the trek is strenuous as it involves almost 6 hours of steep climb. We make our way through forests and camp just before the Chang La Pass.
Day 05: Chang La Pass to Potak We cross the steep Chang La Pass and the Poshing La Pass as well, before we descend to forests again, with a glacial stream to cross.
From the glacial stream, it is an uphill climb again to the pastures of Potak, where we camp by the beautiful river stream.
Day 06: Potak to Sela Pass to Lorthum After an uphill climb of about 3 hours, we reach Sela Pass, which is this treks highest point. Enjoy the magnificent views of Kangto and Gorichen peaks before descending down to Lorthum for an overnight camp.
Day 07: Lorthum to Mago We trek through the river valley, crossing dense forests and quaint hits along our way before reaching Mago Village, which lies at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level.
Day 08: Mago to Thimbu We trek along the Twang Chu River, making an uphill climb to reach Thimbu Village. There are arrangements made for an overnight camp at Thimbu Village.
Day 09: Thimbu to Tawang We take a 6 hour long trek, through forests, crossing river streams on suspension bridges to reach Jung. From Jung, we hop onto our vehicles to drive to Tawang for an overnight stay at the hotel.

This trekking tour takes you through dense forests, some really steep climbs and old villages of the region.
Overall, the trek is moderately difficult. If you have done some high altitude trekking before, you shouldnt be having any problems completing this 8 day trek.
