Earn an internationally recognized PADI Advanced Diver or SSI Advanced Diver certification through the expertise of the professional diving instructors who are here to guide you.
What to expect:
- Pursue your underwater education by partaking in a scuba diving training session at Maritim Crystal Beach Resort and Spa in Belle Mare
- The first scuba certification, Open Water Diver opens the undersea world to you and allows you to dive independently to a maximum of 18 meters .
- With a dive buddy accompanied you this course consists of 5 theory modules, 5 pool sessions and 5 open water dives.
- The PADI open water diver course will take approximately 12-15 hours to complete and this full-fledged academy will promote you as a pro diver from a beginner in no time.
- This course is available through out the year starting as early as 6 AM to ensure a profound diver.
Know before you go:
- MARES diving equipment (Regulators, Gauges, Buoyancy Control Devices, Fins and Masks)
- LUXFER Aluminum Cylinders
- DIVERS ALERT NETWORK Emergency Oxygen and First Aid on board
- Requirement: Participants should be a Certified Open Water Diver. They should bring their certificates along with them.
- Restriction: A medical certificate stating no indication against diving must be provided on arrival.
- Minimum age: 12 years old

This is a great opportunity to discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves. This is your introduction to the amazing world of diving.
learn to dive in safe and controlled conditions under the direct supervision of qualified PADI instructors, with Mauritius’ friendliest and most professional PADI Dive Center located on the north coast of Mauritius in the the town of Grand Bay.
About the Activity:
- Engage in scuba diving at Maritim Crystal Beach Resort and Spa in BelleMare to experience the adventure of marine life.
- Obtain a scuba certification that allows you to dive to a maximum of 10 meters with an instructor like never before.
- The course consists of theory modules, pool sessions and open water dives. The diving sessions are conducted by an experienced PADI professional.
- Enjoy snorkeling and get trained for 30 min in a pool post which you will be ready to dive to a maximum depth of 10m for at least 30min accompanied with one of the PADI Professionals.
- This activity can be availed from 09:00 AM till evening through out the year. Be there do that!
- Learn what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater and learn to feel comfortable there
- Learn theoretical basics of diving
- Learn some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over to your full scuba certification course when you decide to take the next step
Know before you go:
- 1 hour pool session or shallow water session - where you get to know the experience of scuba diving and learn the basics of diving
- Boat trip to the open sea where you will experience the open sea dive
- 1 open sea dive with a maximum depth of 4 to 5m under direct supervision of the instructor
- Duration: 3 hours
- Timing: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
How to Reach: You can make use of public transport to reach North Mauritius from your location to experience a luxury catamaran cruise in Mauritius. If you are new to the place, then it would be highly recommended to book a private transfer to drop at your destination without any inconveniences.
