While at the summit, you can explore the beautiful areas around such as, Konkan kada, Taramati peak and Kedareshwar temple. This amazing trekking activity begins as you are picked up from Kalyan and proceed towards the Khubipahata village.     • Located in the Western Ghats near Ratangad, Sadhan is a water carved valley of around 50-500ft depth and about 2km long.
    • Reach Samrad via your private vehicle, rest for a while and after some quick bites begin your trek. Halt for lunch midway on the trek.

    Embark in this exciting trekking expedition to Bhimashankar forest and witness the mesmerizing beauty of this region.
    Enjoy trekking to the Bhimshankar from two different routes.One is from the base village of the Khandas and the other is the shorter route through the ladders placed on the steepest parts.
    While on the route from the Khandas trek through the Ganesh ghat route and trek for about 3 hours until your reach the plateau of Bhimashankar.
    Stroll into the nearby places in this region and enjoy the sight of the small pond called Hanuman Tal.
    If you want to take the shorter route then trek through the Shidi ladder route where you will trek through the ladders placed on the steepest parts.
    Hike through three ladders and reach the junction where both the routes Ganesh ghar and Shidi merge together.
    Enjoy a refreshing tea while passing the small huts in the middle of the trek.
    Continue trekking for another one and half hour and trek through thre pond which will lead you to the temple in Bhimashankar.
