We can begin a trek here for the upper areas of the Langtang Valley. Nine species of Rhododendron can be seen in this region. An easy 4 km trek from there takes one up to the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary. Rhododendron Trek - a trek adorned with beautiful resplendent flowers of rhododendrons grown in their full bloom. Then we will go further to Tiuni. The village is located on the confluence of the Pabbar and Tons rivers. Tiuni is nestled among forests of alpine paddocks and rhododendron. Further there is Icchari dam, which is one of the electrifying rafting expeditions in Uttarakhand. Icchari dam is our last destination.

Get familiar with the natural environs while we go on an easy nature trail along the Assiganga. We will find our self in fewer numbers amidst the varied Himalayan birds. Get used to the topography of the Lesser Himalayas. It has the winding channel that makes its way through a silent forest to an even more silent and magnificent, water pool. The local stream, the Assi Ganga, abounds in Brown trout. Our journey will commence from New Delhi to Kuflon via Haridwar. Thereafter, we will move for Day hikes in Kuflon. From here we will go for village hike in villages like Assi ganga and Seku then will get back to New Delhi.

This is a trail that goes from a glacier to the next, taking you to the Badrinath and Gangotri holy shrines while you also pass Kalindi. Most of the walk is located over ground and you will be able to view a part of high altitude wildlife. Camps are set up near small glacial lakes. The average walking altitude is 4500 meters and you will sleep at freezing temperatures for around 10 days.

It is highly advised that adventurous and very fit trekkers will go through Kalindi Pass. There is a necessity to have mountaineering and high altitude trekking expeditions of India are fundamental ability. You will experience something rare since even seasoned climbers have problems with this pass. However, if you can do it, you will love every second of it.
