The Singapore Zoo is first 'open-concept' zoo amidst the lush green rainforests, which is an epitome of nature's wonder. The entire zoo sprawls over an area of 26 hectares with more than 2,400 specimens of distinct species. If you are an animal lover and nature admirer, then this is a place for you! You will be amazed by the breeding programmes of this place, which makes it stand out from all other Zoos in the world.This award winning zoo has taken several conservation initiatives to prevent vulnerability of the species, since here 34% of the species are almost near extinction. All the animals reside in a spacious environment and apart from just gazing at the beautiful species, you can also feed them.
The park is split into four sections namely River Safari, Jurong Bird Park and Night Safari and lastly the Zoo. All of them have something unique of their own.
