    About the Place:

Gardens By The Bay on the Marina Bay Waterfront in the heart of Singapore is the most iconic, recognizable and admired marvel of engineering. Built and spread over 101 hectares or 250 acres of land reclaimed from the Marina reservoir, the idea behind the Gardens was to reimagine Singapore City. The government wanted the ‘Garden City’ to be reborn as the ‘City in a Garden’, and hence the gardens were created. The architecture of this spectacular addition to the skyline of Singapore is one of the most beautiful things about this place. The place is just as beautiful from the outside as it is from the inside.

The Gardens are divided into three parts, namely Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden, out of which the South Garden is the largest with almost 130 acres of covered ground. Each Garden has some or the other kind of attraction that makes them unique from each other, and one of the best and most soothing places to visit as a whole.

The Bay South Garden is the most favourite and most visited of the three gardens. The largest section in The Gardens, it is home to some of the most amazing additions to the garden city. The main attraction here is the two cooled conservatories of the Gardens, known as the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. Created in the most ecological and environmentally friendly manner, these conservatories are aimed to provide services without having to worry about the weather. They are built as columnless glasshouses of large stature and with amazing cooling systems installed in the roof of the structure. The Flower Dome houses Mediterranean and Semi-Arid conditions with plants belonging to Australia, South America and South Africa. Whereas the Cloud Forest maintains cool and moist conditions to replicate the weather found in the tropics and between the height of 1,000m and 3,000m above sea level. The plant life housed in this conservatory belong to areas of Southeast Asia, and middle and South America.

Not just these, the Bay South Garden even has a 35 m tall waterfall, that sends small and refreshing splashes of water onto the visiting tourists. But amongst the most famous attraction of the South Garden is the Supertree Grove. The place is dotted with vertical gardens looking like trees and ranging in height from 25m to 50m. Home to a number of exotic plants and herbs, the trees serve a multitude of functions for the Gardens. They are fitted with the technology that converts sunlight into clean and green energy, that is then used to power various functions of the Supertree Grove. A platform built between the larger of the two Supertrees gives the visitor a panoramic view of the entire gardens and the Marina Bay.

Bay South Garden also houses a Children’s Garden, two Horticultural Themed Gardens, and a flower market. The Bay East Garden is famous for an uninterrupted view of the Singapore Skyline, while the Bay Central Garden is developed as the bridge between the two gardens on south and east.

This ticket to the Gardens By The Bay includes the admission fee and ticket to the attraction, where you can enjoy the place fully and connect with the numerous beautiful views that you can enjoy here.

Built on the reclaimed land from the Marina Bay in the heart of Singapore, the Gardens by the Bay is a large nature park spread in the huge area of 250 acres. The engineering marvel that attracts millions to its domes every year is filled with greenery and innumerable photo ops.
