Nileshwaram, once a cultural centre in Kerala, has retained its untouched beauty of being an exclusive place existing in a backwater dependent eco-system. Blanketed with coconut groves, filled with meandering trails, it makes an ideal picnic spot with some peppering of hiking. On your guided tour here, explore this unscathed land, understand the daily routine of the locals, and return with a smile on your face.

You’ll start around 8am from Nileshwaram. Walk on a stretch with white sandy beach and pristine backwaters for company on either side. Your first stop at a cooperative Mussel Farm exposes you to the business intricacies. Board a boat for a narrow peninsula, with an unbelievable triangular boundary of the sea, an estuary, and the backwaters. Hike around the peninsula through coconut plantations. Mark space for lunch (that can be provided by us at an extra cost) around 1pm. End your 5hour, 10km (or 20km depending upon your fitness) hike in this spectacular spot. A local boat will transfer you to Nileshwaram.
