You will also have to find shelter and build it with the materials that are provided. Engage in Scavenger Hunt where the utensils will be hidden across. You and your group will have to scout for them. Somewhere along the way, a lion is on the prowl and you have to undertake Jumaring (rope climbing activity). Also, one of your tribesmen is injured. The team has to make a stretcher with what is provided and will have to carry him back on top of it.

Intersection - to complete an intersection task two teams must join forces for the duration of an activity.

Yield - a leading team is given the opportunity to force another following team to yield by completing an extra activity before continuing.

How to reach the campsite?

You have to report at Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand which is the starting point of the trek and it is around 3 km from Mcleodganj. Many local transports and private cabs are available from Mcleodganj to reach Bhagsu Nag.

Note: If the snow at the top of base camp is beyond the operator's control, the camping for the day will be organized in Dharamkot instead.

The Sutlej, along with the Indus and the Brahmaputra, are the only three rivers originating in the high Tibetan Plateau that cut across the mighty Himalayan ranges. It rises near Mansarovar Lake (5550 m high) in the Tibetan Plateau. It has extensive vineyards, thriving crops and orchards of apricots, apples and grapes. It is said to be a great river for rafters and kayakers. It is a pool drop river where big torrents with waves and holes are followed by relaxing calm scenic stretches. It is one of the major tributaries of the Indus River system. The northeastern part of this valley is drier and conditions become humid towards the southwest.

We will begin our trip from Rampur Bushair, and this will drop us over 350 meters in the first two days of running continuous with some rapids. The Sutlej falls in one of the most consistent runs in the Himalayas. We will end our trip at Tattapani, 42 kms upstream of the massive Kol dam site, which will form a gigantic lake till Tattapani, in the years to come.

It is being believed that in the entire planet if anyone has to find out a pristine mountainous landscape then Great Himalayan National Park will be the one. The shepherds, signs of animals covering, devoid of wildlife, denuded timber and overgrazing life comprises the entire national parks. About Bhrigu Lake:

Bhrigu Lake is the high altitude glacial lake at the height of 14,100 ft. It is said that thousand year ago, Maharishi Bhrigu used to meditate near this pristine lake & hence it is named after him. The beauty of the lake is different in every season, In winters it is frozen, In the early summer you will find small glacial pieces floating in the lake and in summer & spring the lake becomes blue and keep on changing its color every hour of the day.

How to reach?

You have to report at  Base camp, Old Manali which is the starting point of the trek. Many local transports and private cabs are available from Mall Road to reach Old Manali.

Shiti Dhar (meaning White Peak) has a height of over 18,000 feet and it is the best possible peak that you want to go on if you want to start mountaineering. It is perfect for those trackers that like climbing experience but want to go on a great Himalayan Trek. The south face of the peak offers a very challenging and straightforward route. Shitidhar has an accessibility that makes it twice as attractive as others. Your base camp will be near Beas Kund, Beas source, and the location is 1 day trek away from the highly popular Manali. It is a climb that will offer incredible views of Hanuman Tibba, Indrasan, Pir Panjal and Deotibba.

Miyar valley is located in NW of Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. It extends over 100 kms from Udaipur to great Kang la pass. It is also known as the Valley of Flowers. Miyar valley is comparatively easy to reach by road and there are plenty of untouched things to explore which are still hidden to the outside world.

During summer cultivating green peas, potatoes and Barley is main cash crop in the valley. July and August is the prime time to explore this magnificent valley, blossoming with high altitude flowers, rare Blue poppy is quite famous among all.

We start trekking from Udaipur which is famous for wood carved Mrikula devi temple; and explore the little know Miyar valley. Start from Udaipur, we will drive to Chamrat, and start the trek to Chilling.

Beautiful Himalaya trek offers an excellent sojourn in this charming valley and a chance to glimpse magnificent Himalayan Flora and with luck, some fauna as well. About the Destination:

One of the most offbeat places in Himachal Pradesh, Kinnaur Kailash is a mystic valley with high rising snow glazed mountains and deep valleys. Although rugged and barren, the deep gaps between these majestic mountains are draped with the patches of the exotic coniferous vegetation which includes alpine species, and hardy grasses. Kanha National Park is located in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh and it extends over an area of over 1,940-sq-kms. By a special statue in 1955, Kanha national park came into being. Since then, a series of stringent conservation programmes for the protection of the parks flora and fauna has given Kanha its deserved reputation for being one of the finest and best administered national parks in Asia, an irresistible attraction for all Wildlife Adventure lovers a true haven for its animal and avian population. Kanha national park has 22 species of mammals. The most easily spotted are TIGER, Indian hare, Indian wild dog, the Stripped Palm Squirrel, Common langur, Jackal, Wild Pig, Chital or Spotless deer, Barasingha or Swamp deer, Sambar and black Buck.

Patient watching should reward the visitor, with a sight of Indian Fox, Sloth bear, striped hyena, Jungle cut, Lepord, Mouse Deer, Chausingha or four horned antelope, Nilgai, Ratel and Porcupine.

If you want to witness more species of Indian wildlife then Kanha National Park will be the best place for you. In 1974 as per governments special scheme Project Tiger lead to the establishment of Kanha Tiger Reserve. You may be amazed to know that hard ground Barasingha are only seen in this national park apart from other wild animals.

Kanhas national park is widely spread over 940 sq km area with amazing natural grandeur , you can witness very mean streams, grasslands till the end and beautiful bamboo forests. You may not know but this is the jungle about which it is mentioned in the Jungle Book as Kipling Country.

We should feel proud as Kanha National Park is also has the reputation of best administered National parks in Asia. The park has been benefitted with many schemes initiated by governments to protect wild animals and to give extra boost to the flora and fauna in the national park. Many tourists come to this national park repeatedly as they feel it very alluring and never get tired of praising the beauty of it.

Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the Indian Wildlife sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh. The national park is situated 197 km north-east of Jabalpur. This wild life park derived its name from an ancient fort in the area. Bandhavgarh National Park belongs to the Vindhyan mountain ranges of central India and it boasts to have the highest density of tiger population in the country. If carefully watched for one can spot 46 to 52 tigers here.

In the Bandhavgarh National Park the visitors can enter on elephant backs apart from the four wheelers. The best time to visit the park to spot wildlife is early in the morning or after 4 pm. The park is closed during monsoon from 1st July to 31st October.

One can enjoy viewing the wildlife by two ways in Bandhavgarh - Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari. Jeep safaris are undertaken during the early morning hours till evening. A forest department guide is always there with the visitors on these jeep trips taken inside the park. Elephant safari trips are organized for tiger tracking early in the morning.

Bandhavgarh National Park is positioned in Madhya Pradesh and stretches along the range of Vindhyan Mountains. This park is noted for the presence of Royal Bengal Tigers and has the maximum density of tiger population in the country.

Remaining the hunting destination for the Maharaja of Rewa, the Bandhavgarh National Park is now the abode of rare species of White Tigers. The White Tigers were originally found in Rewa located near this park and have turned out to be one of the leading objects of interest in various zoos across the globe. The entire territory runs east to west with fragmented hilly ranges scattered with wetlands and forest areas.

This national park is famous for remaining the densest population in terms of per unit of forest area and rated among the top-notch national parks in India. Covering an area of about 448 sq km, the Bandhavgarh national park has 105 sq km of cross area. The Bandhavgarh hills, encircled by slanting valleys, are located at the central point of the park and measures about 811 meters above the sea level. At the end point of these valleys the area is covered with marshy grasslands having a local term called Bohera.

Bandhavgarh National Park is a protected area and serves as a shelter to various species of flora and fauna including gaur (Indian Bison), wild boar, leopard, sloth bear, porcupine, sambhar and spotted deer, in addition to the tiger species.

The Roopkund trek is an invigorating expedition from the high altitude region of Loharjung, in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand at 3200m, to the ‘Skeletal Lake’ of Roopkund shadowed by the mighty peak of Trishul standing tall at 5000m. Milam Glacier is a major glacier of the Kumaon trekking in Himalaya. It is situated in the tehsil of Munsiyari, part of the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India, about 15 kilometres northeast of Nanda Devi.

The base for Milam Glacier is Munsyari (2290 Meters) in Pithoragarh district. From Munsyari the trek will take us to downhill along Gori Ganga River. From Bogdiyar to Rilkot, there is a thickly forested region where the land opens into the Gori Ganga Valley. While crossing Gori Ganga River below Burfu Village, we will observe an uninterrupted view of Nanda Devi and Hardeol peaks up to Milam Glacier.

This mixed glacier system is the source of the Gori Ganga River, and offers breathtaking views of an area that abounds in natural beauty. The last point of Milam Glacier at 3872 meters is the nodal point for a variety of high grade routes and peaks.

Passing through the vibrant valleys of the Gori Ganga and the high alpine meadows, one cannot resist admiring the impressive waterfalls and forests of Rhododendron, conifers, chestnut and bamboo.

Situated in Kuflon, Uttaranchal, Mandanbitti is the highest peak that offers a heavenly view of the great Himalayan ranges. Some years back it was a part of the Varuna yatra (a local circular pilgrim route). With changing times it fell out of the circle, making Varuna yatra possible in one day. It is surrounded by beautiful meadows spread across the magnificent green blanket of grass and bright flowers. It offers a view of the surrounding regions.

On first phase we will visit Camp Lunagad, Tons river, located at 3600 ft above sea level in thick pine forest. From here we will move to Ringali Rest house - a British rest house. Then we will go further to Tiuni. The village is located on the confluence of the Pabbar and Tons rivers. Tiuni is nestled among forests of alpine paddocks and rhododendron. Further there is Icchari dam, which is one of the electrifying rafting expeditions in Uttarakhand. Icchari dam is our last destination.

Get familiar with the natural environs while we go on an easy nature trail along the Assiganga. We will find our self in fewer numbers amidst the varied Himalayan birds. Get used to the topography of the Lesser Himalayas. It has the winding channel that makes its way through a silent forest to an even more silent and magnificent, water pool. The local stream, the Assi Ganga, abounds in Brown trout. Our journey will commence from New Delhi to Kuflon via Haridwar. Thereafter, we will move for Day hikes in Kuflon. From here we will go for village hike in villages like Assi ganga and Seku then will get back to New Delhi.

This is a trail that goes from a glacier to the next, taking you to the Badrinath and Gangotri holy shrines while you also pass Kalindi. Most of the walk is located over ground and you will be able to view a part of high altitude wildlife. Camps are set up near small glacial lakes. The average walking altitude is 4500 meters and you will sleep at freezing temperatures for around 10 days.

It is highly advised that adventurous and very fit trekkers will go through Kalindi Pass. There is a necessity to have mountaineering and high altitude trekking expeditions of India are fundamental ability. You will experience something rare since even seasoned climbers have problems with this pass. However, if you can do it, you will love every second of it.

Har - Ki - Doon is located in the Western Ganges of the Garhwal Himalayas, at the base of the Fateh Parvat, at an altitude of 3,556 meters. This is a cradle shaped Valley, which is bounded by dense forests of pines and gleaming mountain peaks.

The trek from Chumathang to Yaya Tso Trek takes 6 days and the best time to do it is from Mid June to September. We drive from Leh to Chumathang in 4 hours. Chumathang is well known for its springs. It has medical importance but the use of water here is also done to wash clothes. The Chumathang village is not very far from the springs and a small monastery nearby can be a good place to explore.

From Chumathang we walk across the village, cross the animal pastures, get a chance to spot wildlife like blue sheep and marmots and take in some amazing sights of natural beauty. After 5 hours we arrive at Gangra. Next stop is Sumdo that takes 4 hours. Sumdo is where three valleys merge together. It is a sight to behold and surely a place to pitch up tents for the day.

From Sumdo we leave for Phayalung. It takes about 8 hours for the trek to complete. Climb to Choku La is pretty tough hence we start early in the morning. From Phayalung we trek to Yayatso. We come across several shepherds, a gorgeous flowing river, a desert plateau and then the village Yaya. The lake near this village is called Yaya tso. We drive down to Mahe halting to visit the nunnery and then go straight to Leh.

The duration of trek from Brandy Nalla to Hemis is about 13 days. The best time to do this trek is from mid June to End of September. The journey begins at Manali where we drive through Sarchu. We cross the Baralacha Pass and camp at Brandy Nalla, the start of this trek. The next place we trek to is Jukta, a short leisure trek which will help us in acclimatizing.

From Jukta we move to Morang la, the highest point in the trek. The trek is moderate. We follow the Bans river and arrive at the camping base. From Morang La base we take a steep climb and reach Morang La (5300 ft). The trek from here onwards is an easy down hill climb until the Lun valley. From Lun we trek to Lungmo Che at 4000 mt. En route this place it is likely to encounter nomadic groups.

From Lungmo Che we go to Yar La and from there we arrive at Dat. Sorra is the next stop. On the way we will visit the Gelukpa monastery at Dat village. A short trek from here and we arrive at the mid camp called Zalung Karpo La. The next morning we leave for Langtan Chu. The trek takes 7-8 hours. Next day again start the trek to Nimaling. To reach there we cross two ridges. Spend an entire day lazing around in Nimaling. From Nimaling we will go to Kangmarula and then to Chogdo.

Next day trek until we reach Shang and then drive to Hemis monastery. After visitng Hemis, drive to Leh and return back home.

Together, scout for the three pieces of maps with different clues that take you closer to your goal. Sandwiched between the Bandipur and Annamalai sanctuaries, Mudumalai wildlife reserve is a continuation of the Bandipur National Park. The river Moyar flowing along the border of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, separates both the sanctuaries. Located in Tamil Nadu, the Mysore-Ooty Highway runs through this 321 sq km park.

While in this tour, we will stay in a farm house attached to a water stream and situated amidst scenic landscapes. Jungle Survival Theme:

Welcome to the jungle! Enter into a tribal world where technology is completely unheard of. In this exciting outdoor activity, it is the man verses the wild where you and your team have to face ordeals that come across in the forest. Bond as a group and use your creativity to come up with solutions to the various problems. The team that can tackle all the obstacles and survive will be heralded as the winning team.

In this activity, each group will be divided into different tribes.  You and your team will have to present some innovative ideas and choose your own tribal name, jingle and dance. All of this has to be unique to garner good points.

Get into the tribal zone with props of sticks and leaves. There are several adventurous tasks at hand. Provide for your tribe with the theme of collecting water. The catch is that you and your team will be given a basket with many holes and will have to use leaves to cover it up. Manage the whole thing in such a way that the water does not leak. Either that or you would have to collect water with a bamboo stick. Other activities include starting a fire using old techniques and hunting for food with a game of archery. You will also have to find shelter and build it with the materials that are provided. Engage in Scavenger Hunt where the utensils will be hidden across. You and your group will have to scout for them. Somewhere along the way, a lion is on the prowl and you have to undertake Jumaring (rope climbing activity). Also, one of your tribesmen is injured. The team has to make a stretcher with what is provided and will have to carry him back on top of it.

The team that manages to complete all of these activities successfully at the earliest will be titled the winner.

Manchinbele is a small water reservoir situated 40 km from Bangalore. The dam was initially constructed for irrigation purposes and now it is one of the major sources of water to the Magadi Town. Bask in the glory of a war time hero. The scenario of this exciting activity is nothing less than a battlefield, which gives participants an opportunity to be the unforgotten. It is here that you put your strategising skills to practice. This simulating intervention starts with forming the team and working to create identities for themselves. Teams will be given a mission that needs to be accomplished. You and your group members will have to work together on strategies to complete the assigned task. Once done, it has to be presented and cleared by the experts. Then, load your guns and get into the gear for it is the time for action.

To get into the battle mode, dress up in Combat Fatigues and Berets. You and your team will be playing the game of Modern Warfare. The story begins with culminating team names, flags and war cry. Use your creativity and come up with an inspiring and innovative team anthem. They can be used to boost and restore the spirit of the group. You and your team will be provided with linear maps and magnetic compasses. Get all prepped up for the combat. In this game, opposing teams need to build their Command Headquarters. The task is to locate and capture the opposing force’s Headquarter, field assemble 45 mm. Skilfully shoot down the opposing force’s Headquarter from a range of approx. 200-300 ft with the help of cannons and paintball rifles.

This is an exceptionally high energy and action packed intervention that involves field artillery (45 mm. internal combustion cannons), explosives, booby traps, walkie-talkies, camouflage and concealment. The whole activity is conducted in a relatively safe and controlled environment. The team that manages to survive and shoot down most of the opponents will emerge as the victorious one.
