    About the Destinations:

One among the 43 Project Tigers in the country, the Taboda Andhari Tiger Reserve in the Chandrapur distrit of Maharashtra is the oldest and the largest National Parks in the entire state and is best known for Tadoba Tiger Safari. Located centrally in a tribal area, there are several myths and mystique related to this flourishing reserve.

According to one of these myths, after the village chief was killed by a tiger, the local tribal created a shrine to protect the villagers from the wrath of the Tigers. Whatever be the truth, the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is now an abode of several rare and endangered wildlife species; the reserve is also home to a range of exotic plants and valuable trees which can be witnessed during the Tadoba Tiger Safari. With Tadoba safari bookingyou step in to the wilderness of nature in just a snap.

    About the Activity:

A standing example of selfless humility and charity, Anandwan stands for the efforts of one man, Baba Amte. Translating to mean ‘The Forest of Joy’, it is located around 5km from Warora near Chandrapur state in Maharashtra and sprawls over 465 hectares of area. This was started mainly for leprosy patients and to help the lesser endowed sections of the society. The organization at Anandwan was started by Maharogi Seva Samiti. The other sister projects of the organization are Lok Biradari Prakalp and Somnath, which are mainly for patients rehabilitated after leprosy.

Hemalkasa on the other hand in located in Gadchiroli district and belongs to the Madia Ginds, a tribal community. It was here that Baba Amte and His wife, Dr. Mandakini Apte managed the award winning project of Lok Biradari.
