About the Activity:
Nestled between the scenic Western Ghats, and known for their unique and rich flora and fauna and the Arabian Sea, the north Konkan coast has beaches and mangroves filled with swampy areas and rice fields. Steeped in history, the towns dotting the Konkan coastline have a number of forts, some dating back to the 12th century like the Janjira Fort. The first view of Janjira Fort from your boat, as you approach it, is stunning. You can walk through these magnificent historical relics in two days and get a first-hand feel of what life in a fort would have been like a few centuries ago in this Konkan Darshan tour. In addition, you will have a journey through one of the most scenic routes in India punctuated with lovely virgin beaches and temples.
Within a few hours of you departure for your North Konkan Coastal Tour Package from Pune, you will reach the remarkable Janjira Fort with its 19 intact rounded bastions. This is one of India’s strongest marine forts and is approached by sailboats from Rajapuri jetty. Now in ruins, this fort can still give you enough hair-raising experiences about life hundreds of years ago. Built in 1521, the Korlai Fort is of Portugese origin and you can still see some parts of its beautiful church standing. The view of the Korlai village, sandy beaches and the sea from this fort is breathtaking. Travelling from Alibag on a boat to reach Khanderi Fort situated on an island is an experience that you should not miss. The island is small and has the fort and a lighthouse from where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sea surrounding the island and the little waves crashing into the rocky shore

About the Activity:
Enjoy an exciting series of bumpy rides at Nagaon on your next visit to this water paradise! Bumpy Rides usually takes place on a large body of water such as a sea, lake or river. Riders tether their tubes to a powered watercraft such as a motor boat or a personal watercraft. The riders are then towed through the water by the watercraft. The speed and manner in which this occurs is usually dictated by the riders. Children are generally given a slow, tame ride while thrill-seeking teenagers will usually opt to be towed faster, even seeking to be pulled through choppy water or across wakes, tailor made for the adventurer in you!
If you enjoy water sports and the pure untamed bliss that is associated with nature, then you need to head for a fun and exciting banana ride in Nagaon with your friends and family members on your next day off!
