Explore the City of Palaces with a ride on the horseback. In 4 hours, the horse ride tour takes you through some of the major landmarks of the place and promises an experience as unique as the city itself.
Meet at the horse stables near the foothills of Chamundi Hills at around 9am. After a bit of training and practice of horse riding, given by experts, the tour starts with a visit to the Town Hall. Built with hints of Roman architecture, this elegant building today hosts several cultural and political events. The Town Hall is followed by the Mysore Palace, the home of the former royal family of Mysore. It is one of the largest and most exquisite ones in the country. The Jaya Mahal Palace is the next place on the list. As you pass through these places you get a fair glimpse of the richness of the cultural and architectural heritage of the city.
Once done with the palaces, the final stop in the horse ride tour is the Zoo Garden. Among the oldest and the best in the country, it is set against the magnificent backdrop of the Chamundi Hills and is home to a wide variety of animals such as tigers, giraffes, gorillas, jaguars,zebras, lions, chimpanzees, leopards, cheetahs, African elephants and white rhinoceroses. The tour then heads back to the stables for the conclusion.

As you survey the palace on the horseback, reel in the landscaped gardens that surround this region. A two-storied structure, the palace has design influences from English manor homes and cathedrals. Now a five star hotel, the culmination of architectural styles makes the Lalith Mahal Palace unique.
Pass through lush paddy fields visit to the Varuna Canal Backwaters. For about fifteen kilometres, on a horseback, you view beautiful sights of the city leading up to backwater region. Located in Nāganahalli, this canal is of seven kilometres length. After which, you head back to the stables.
